What is "OTOBACO"?

Music is played from eight Dolby Atmos® compatible speakers and two woofers, transforming the usual gondola into an experiential space for a journey of sound.
Depending on the weather, on sunny days, a piano concerto enhances the sense of unity with the magnificent views seen from the window, while on rainy days, digital music evokes the scenery of Hakone in your mind, providing a new immersive experience where landscape and sound become one.
Moreover, the only gondola available for private hire is this OTOBACO! Enjoy your own space for 2,500 yen per gondola♪

Where can you ride it?

You can board OTOBACO from Hakone Ropeway Sōunzan Station.
As soon as you enter, purchase your ropeway tickets (for the number of people) and the private hire ticket for Otobaco at the ticket counter right in front!
Even if there is a line for the ropeway, you can go directly to the ticket gate with your private hire ticket for Otobaco without waiting in line♪
