The "Tarafukukan", which sells specialty products of Tara, also has an abundance of fresh vegetables, as well as fruits brought from neighboring orchards. In particular, tangerines in winter are a specialty of Tara, and rare rare species are also available. Processed products such as honwasabi and wasabi dressings from Tara-cho are also well received. In the "Fisherman's Hall", Haisin Champon is popular. For souvenirs, the nori of the Ariake Sea, which boasts the highest production in Japan, is recommended.

Ooshima Shrine, which on the map is located on a straight line connecting Mt. Tara and Okinoshima. It is reminiscent of the natural philosophy that the main industries of Tara-cho, agriculture and fishing (mountain and sea), are interrelated. The underwater torii is popular among tourists as a mysterious shooting spot because you will not get tired of seeing the scenery that changes in various ways due to morning, evening, moonlight, starry sky, and tide.
