Katakura-kan

An observation space that extends along the prefectural road No. 40 from Suwa city to the Kirikamine plateau. There is an observation deck in the park, and you can see the streets of Lake Suwa and Suwa. It has been selected as the 100-place selection of Shinshu Sunset Point, and has also been selected as the New Japan's Three Great Night Views and the 100 Night Views. In addition, play equipment facilities and walking paths are provided and recommended for picnics.

You can enjoy a hot water bath drifting from the "Nanatsugama" which mimics the spout of a hot spring. There is a stand on the first floor, where you can buy hot spring eggs using hot springs. On the second floor, "Suwa's Location Review Exhibition" can be toured, while photographs and materials of "Suwa Lake Fireworks" are displayed on the third floor.

Located along Lake Suwa, the complex has a shop, bakery and cafe on the first floor, a restaurant on the second floor, and an observation garden with a view on the rooftop. The restaurant has an original "Shinshu Fourteen Pigs" and a menu made from seasonal vegetables that are gentle and stylish to the body.
