Manba Hall
During the Nara period around the year of Tenpyo 11 (739), Chūshin Asami Takemori, who had served the Imperial Court, married his daughter, Nanojimin, who had also served the Imperial Court. Although he does not know the reason later, Takemori is exposed to the emperor's anger and gets his sin, and is exiled to this land of Amimano. The two parted ways to Heijokyo and Ajimano and grieved their farewell, and they swore a reunion and gave each other a song to encourage each other. There are as many as 63 of the songs, and they are left in the "Man'yōshū". In the theme hall "Manba-kan", which centers on these two gift songs, you can enjoy the world of these Man'yōshū. In Manba no Sato and Amimano-en, 15 representative heads are singing monuments.
