Happy Densha Kanata(Medetai Train Kanata)
The rainbow-colored body symbolizes the hope of connecting the past, present and future. Inside the train, it is divided into a "Taiko no Memory Area" and a "Thoughts for the Future", and the "Taiko no Memory Area" depicts ancient creatures such as Wakayama Souryu, Nautilus, and others discovered in Wakayama. "Feed for the future area" is a rainbow road that leads to the future has appeared on the floor with the image of the sky.

The cool design is black. The crisp eyes, the pirate-like eye patch, and the fine beard are also charm points. The interior is full of music, treasure, adventure motifs and designs.

It is a congratulatory design based on the "red color" that calls good luck. On the front of the train (head mark), the pattern of "Mizuhiki", which is used for traditional Japanese celebrations, is painted. It features a refreshing light blue color inspired by the sea of Kada. Happy Densha Sachi(Medetai Train Sachi)
A cute design with a pink undertone. Love may be fulfilled if you find a pink heart hidden inside the scales? Inside the car, the interior feels tenderness and warmth. It expressed the image of "Kada's Bream" swimming inside the car.
What is "Kada fish line"?
Nicknamed the Nanhai Electric Railway Kada Line, which connects Kinokawa Station to Kada Station, it is the "Kada Sakana Line".
From Namba Station, via Wakayama-shi Station, transfer to the Kata Line; this line line, where leisurely time flows, is colored by "Medetai-densha" as a sightseeing train on the Kata-Sana Line.
Access Information
If you use the bullet train
From Shin-Osaka Station, take the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line and arrive at Namba Station in about 15 minutes; transfer to Nankai Electric Railway at Namba Station, and use the limited express Southern (* partial seats reserved) to reach Wakayama-shi Station in about 60 minutes.
When using an airplane
Take the Nankai Electric Railway Airport Express from Kansai International Airport and arrive at Izumisano Station in about 10 minutes; transfer to the Nankai Electric Railway Limited Express Southern (* partially reserved for seats) at Izumisano Station, and arrive at Wakayama City Station in about 30 minutes.
From Wakayama City Station
From Wakayama-shi Station, transfer to a regular train (bound for Kata) on the Nankai Electric Railway Kata Line, and reach Kata Station in about 25 minutes.
Operational schedule
It is operated daily between Wakayama-shi Station and Kada Station.
