The site of one of the largest Japanese sites, Yoshinogari, is the site of the site of the ancient settlement of the Yayoi period. Take the "Nozomi" JR Tōkaidō/Sanyo Shinkansen Line from Tokyo Station to Hakata Station for about 4 hours 52 minutes to 5 hours. Transfer at Hakata Station to JR Nagasaki Main Line Limited Express "Relay Kamome", etc., and reach Saga Station for about 36-43 minutes. About 6 hours in total. The Japan Rail Pass requires an additional fee when using other than Nozomi and ordinary cars.
