Famous as "sticky treading slope"

Featured in a car TV commercial, Eshima Ohashi Bridge became widely known as "Betafumi-zaka" due to its steep incline. The highest point reaches approximately 45 meters, making it the largest concrete girder bridge in Japan.
From the center of this massive bridge, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Mt. Daisen in the distance and Daikon Island floating on Nakaumi. It is also a hidden gem among cycling routes. If you climb from the Tottori Prefecture side and cross the prefectural border, you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view of Nakaumi unfolding before your eyes.
Officially named Eshima Ohashi Bridge, it is Japan’s largest PC rigid-frame bridge, spanning Nakaumi and connecting Eshima in Yatsuka-cho, Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture, with Sakaiminato City, Tottori Prefecture.
