Black castle is beautiful national treasure Matsue Castle

The Matsue symbol "Matsue Castle" is one of the 12 extant castle towers in the whole country. It continued to hold almost the same figure as it was about 400 years ago and was designated a national treasure in 2015. Its feature is a majestic black castle tower. It is also known as "Chōtō-jo", and is said to have given its name because it resembles the appearance of a staggered bird spreading its feathers. The black city walls are well reflected in the cherry blossoms of spring and deep greens of summer, autumn foliage, winter snow scenes and the colors of the four seasons, and from its top floor, there is a superb 360-degree view of the city of Matsue and Lake Shinji.
