Nagasaki has been chosen as one of the new top three night views in the world, alongside Monaco and Shanghai. The glittering cityscape seen from Inasayama Park is a popular night view spot. We recommend taking a gondola and looking at the night view from the observation deck at the top of the mountain, 333 meters above sea level. From here, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic night view. The Nagasaki cityscape that can be seen from inside the gondola is also a spectacular sight.

Landing on Gunkanjima: See the industrial heritage on a sightseeing cruise
Hashima Island was once home to over 5,000 people and supported the modernization of Japan through coal mining. Its appearance resembles a battleship, hence the name "Battleship Island." A popular option is a tour of the abandoned island. You can sense the past everywhere, including the remains of a shaft and Japan's oldest reinforced concrete apartment building. Tours are run by several cruise companies, and you must make a reservation in advance to land on the island. It often fills up, so it's best to book early.
