Wine Chateau Osako

A lava flow spread over 1.5km wide and about 4km long at an elevation of about 1200m on the northeastern slope of Mount Iwate. A lava flow observation path is maintained around the area and can be seen up close. The craggy black rock is a cold and solidified magma that flowed out in the eruption of the Edo period. It speaks to the intensity of the eruption. It is well preserved and is also valuable academically, such as the record of the eruption time at that time remains. "Morioka Jaja Noodles", one of the three largest noodles representing the noodle kingdom Iwate, and "Sanriku Mekabu Ramen", which has the scent of the tide, are popular. In addition to the freshly baked bread "Iwateyama Bakery", "Tannohata Milk Soft" from "Tōhoku Mami Mondokoro" is also recommended.
