Sun Lake

A local cuisine restaurant located on the eastern shore of Lake Motosu. Yamanashi's local dishes include houtou, chicken giblets, soba, and udon. There is also deer curry made with locally sourced venison. The specialty is lava grilling, where beef and vegetables are cooked on a lava slab instead of a grill, starting at 3,200 yen. There are also Honjin soba for 950 yen and houtou for 1,300 yen.

A dining place with a souvenir shop located at the entrance of Lake Shojin on National Route 139. The famous Shinshu houtou, made with homemade miso and featuring pumpkin and mushrooms, is 1,400 yen, but the hearty set meals are also well-regarded. The recommended dish is the daily special bento for 1,200 yen. The fried smelt set meal and the smelt tempura bowl (from Lake Shojin) for 1,400 yen are also popular. The Mount Fuji hamburger for 1,400 yen and the local specialty, deer curry for 1,400 yen, are also worth trying.

A restaurant with a full menu that can overlook Seizong Lake. A specialty of 1680 yen, which contains seven herbal ingredients that are good for the body. In summer, 1380 yen is recommended for chilled Aotake Hoto. For venison-based dishes, venison meat sauce and new specialty spicy deer curry are 1280 yen. There is also a deer key macarlet torto type of the Kotobuki original souvenir.
