Popular zundo, walnut, and anko rice cakes are set as well as wari soba noodles, and there is plenty of food to eat. Such as Fujiwara Miyo Omokzen 1210 yen and Hiraizumi Hormone 770 yen, a new specialty, are also popular for immobility.

A food court in front of the world heritage site of Hiraizumi and Chūson-ji, a shopping corner with not only Hiraizumi but also Tohoku souvenirs. There is a group cafeteria. The specialty is "mochi cuisine", which is local food.

Soba noodles are served in a small bowl of 24 cups (two pieces of zaru soba) in advance. Unlike the traditional way of eating, it is characterized by being able to enjoy it at your own pace.

あらかじめ小分けにされたそばを手元のお椀に移し入れ、マグロの山かけ、筋子、なめこおろしなど、好みの薬味と一緒に食す平泉わんこそばが名物。岩手県南産のそば粉を使用した自家製そばは、風味ものど越しも抜群。秀衡塗の器も美しい。
