Rishiri Island Station Seaweed Village/Rishiri

利尻の海藻や野花を使い、押し花のようなクラフト体験ができる(料金:大人1500円、中学生以下700円)。所要時間は1人20分前後。施設は築130年程の歴史的建造物を再利用。石蔵ギャラリーやカフェなどを併設しており、利尻の文化や歴史を一緒に感じることができる。カフェでは、利尻昆布でだしをとった石焼きチーズカレー(1000円)やじゃこネギパスタ(1000円)、湧き水で淹れたオリジナルブレンドコーヒー(490円)などが味わえる。

Furnace

Seasonal fish and shellfish can be baked on a charcoal fire in the hearth to taste. The pride is Hocke's Chan-chan-yaki 950 yen, which is made of thick-boiled hockey with fat on a net and eaten with miso sauce, which is a combination of miso, onion, garlic and other medicinal flavors. Known as the birthplace of sea urchin bowl, sea urchin bowl (May GW too-August) is also well received.

The Sea

A store directly managed by Kaben Fishing Co-op, where you can taste fresh seafood with a focus on the local area. The meal you eat while looking at Rishiri Fuji is exceptional. The most popular is "Sea urchin", which is made with plenty of raw sea urchin grown by eating the finest Rishiri kelp, at 5500 yen, and "Sea urchin" at 4000 yen, "Sea urchin and Ikura two-colored rice bowl" at 4000 yen. It is often crowded around June to August, so reservations are required.

Take-chan Sushi

The only sushi restaurant on the island on the second floor of the ferry terminal. You can enjoy plenty of seafood in the coastal waters, such as special sushi 2550 yen and Isoko ramen 1500 yen. The most popular is from mid-June to mid-August, Ezobahun raw sea urchin bowl from 4000 yen to market value. There are many fans who come all the way for this.

McDonald's No. 40 Wakkanai

In the parking lot, there is a monument showing the northernmost store in Japan and a bench where Donald sits, and it is a memorial shooting spot. Order and payment methods for products are required on the official website.

Coffee-dong North Gate Hall

A coffee shop that has good taste and reputation for setting the siphon on and then dropping the siphon after receiving the order. From orthodox to arranged, it costs 400 yen in the Kitamon-kan blend. Russian mixed with thick coffee and chocolate is also recommended.

Mr. Genji, a car shop

You can taste the specialty of Wakkanai, which slices water daco to be fried in the Soya Strait and eats it at the shabu-shabu keel, for one serving of a octopus-shabu pot, 2500 yen, which matches the secret miso sauce and the subtle sweetness of octopus.

North Taste Heart Bamboo-chan

The specialty is Tako-shabu-pan 2200 yen, which is made from a specialty water daco. Let's pass the thinly sliced octopus feet quickly and add it to sesame sauce or ponzu. In addition, there are various flavors unique to Wakkanai, such as Soya Black Beef steak 180g3080 yen and 7 assorted sashimi pieces 2420 yen.

Reverse

The 2000 yen of Isobe-yaki, a signboard dish, is a savory dish made by putting more than 20 kinds of seafood, vegetables, wild plants, etc. in a giant piece of scallop and grilled with miso. In summer, boiled soi and soi stabs, and in winter, octagonal miso-yaki are also delicious. For tightening, Sarobetsu porridge, which is made with vegetables and cooked with milk, is recommended for 840 yen.
