Road Station Tara

A roadside station that stands along National Route 207, facing the Ariake Sea. The "Tarafukukan", which sells specialty products of Tara, also has an abundance of fresh vegetables, as well as fruits brought from neighboring orchards. In particular, tangerines in winter are a specialty of Tara, and rare rare species are also available. Processed products such as honwasabi and wasabi dressings from Tara-cho are also well received. In the "Fisherman's Hall", Haisin Champon is popular. For souvenirs, the nori of the Ariake Sea, which boasts the highest production in Japan, is recommended.

Daishi Shrine, Uminaka Torii

Ooshima Shrine, which on the map is located on a straight line connecting Mt. Tara and Okinoshima. It is reminiscent of the natural philosophy that the main industries of Tara-cho, agriculture and fishing (mountain and sea), are interrelated. The underwater torii is popular among tourists as a mysterious shooting spot because you will not get tired of seeing the scenery that changes in various ways due to morning, evening, moonlight, starry sky, and tide.

Roadside Station

Roadside station stands in a rural landscape in Shiraishi, Saga Prefecture. "Mongo Mongo Market", a bright and spacious direct-to-product store, is filled with a wide array of locally-picked seasonal produce and confectionery, pickles and handmade processed goods. The restaurant "Tannaka Cafe 360" offers full taste of dishes using Shiraishi-cho's specialty and seasonal vegetable dishes. I am glad that you can eat while enjoying the Shiraishi Plain of the town at the observation restaurant.

Fukudomi My Land Park

In April 2023, the play equipment of "Fukudomi My Land Park Wanpaku Square" in Shiraishi-cho was renewed. The tractor-type inclusive play equipment, which is designed unique to Shiraishi-cho, has a ramp that can be used as a wheelchair. Other inclusive sandboxes and inclusive swings are also installed. Inclusive play equipment is a play equipment that any child can play with regardless of physical disability. There are also large play equipment with onions and lotus root motifs. There is also a vast plaza with lawns, a spot where everyone can play with their families.

Hiratani Onsen Yamabuki no Uto

A stop-over hot spring that draws Hiraya Onsen along National Route 444. The fluttering atmosphere of the mountain village is attractive. From the observation bathhouse, it overlooks the Nohkami valley, and there are also open-air baths and two family baths. The only inn is Hiratani Onsen-an (for two people, 32,500 yen per person), which is run by the same management that welcomes one pair of guests a day.

Hizen Yutoku Onsen Honoyu

A hot spring facility located along the prefectural road No. 282 following Yutoku Inari Shrine. The hot springs that spring from 1000m underground are the simple hot springs. It is effective in neuralgia and joint pain. There are 13 baths, including an open-air rock bath with a view of the Japanese-style garden, and two types of saunas, which are infrared and steam, and an este bath where powerful jet jets encourage a massage effect. Relaxation services such as manipulative massage are also substantial.

New Oil Shop

A popular Yutoku Inari entourage store for 250 yen, which is popular among worshippers at Yutoku Shrine. The contents come out when you press the bottom of the container with your finger, so it's an idea to cut it with the attached thread and eat it.

Road Station Kashima

It is a roadside station with a panoramic view of the Ariake Sea, and the direct sales shop sells processed products using rare fish and shellfish from the Ariake Sea, including Mutsugorou, Kuchizoko, and Warasbo. There is a mud flat experience (700 yen for elementary school students and more, 400 yen for infants) and a mud flat interchange theater and the Nana Sea (free entrance) that displays rare creatures living in the Ariake Sea.

Yutoku Museum

It displays the treasures and local materials of Yutoku Inari Shrine. It also features many items related to the Kashima clan. In the late Edo period, a collection of small items and designs by Kashima Jintao, which weaves gold and silver foil in Japanese paper, devised by the then-feudal lord Nabeshima Naoko and Atsuko, are interesting.

North Park

Park of citizen's rest. 8 tennis courts (1 hour, 330 yen for adults in the city, 160 yen for high school students, 160 yen for high school students, 100 yen for shower rooms, jabjab pond (7-August, 9-17 o'clock, free) for water play in the central lawn square. (330 yen under high school students).
