Ishimi Ginsan Gunndou Head Office

One of the constituent assets of the World Heritage Site "Ishikami Ginshan Site and its Cultural Landscape" store located near "Rōkhanji Gohyakurhan". Ōkubo-maya public limited tour

Important Cultural Property Kumagaya Family House

The most influential merchant family within the Ishiki Ginzan. The house, which was built in the Edo period, is being restored and opened to the public. A vast main house and five storehouses are scattered in a 500-tsubo site. Among them, many household items from the Edo, Meiji, Taisho and Showa eras are displayed, and you can see how the seasonal pain and life are.

Ōkubo Ishimi Tomb

He was summoned by Tokugawa Ieyasu and served as the first magistrate of Ishimi Ginzan, and was built during his lifetime by Ōkubo Ishimi Mamoru, a contributor to Ishimi Ginzan who worked on the development of the mauyu to increase the productive power of silver.

Mount Senno

A 520m-long promenade from the World Heritage Center to the Senoyama Observation Deck was completed in April 2009. If you go up to the observation deck, which is about 20 minutes each way, you can overlook the town of Omori. If it is sunny, you can also enjoy the view of the Sea of Japan and Mount Sanbe. The core of the Ishiki Ginzan site, a promenade towards Mount Senno at an altitude of 537m, is currently being maintained, and the Ishiin district, which is dotted with nabu, it is also possible to walk to the Sabibiyama Shrine, where the remains of the settlement are located.

World Heritage Site Ishiki Ginzan Site
