Nosiawabi is made to be dedicated at Ise Shrine. About 2,000 years ago, when Waimeimei was looking for an offering to be dedicated to Amaterasu, he was moved by the deliciousness of the abalone in Kunisaki, and there is a word that he decided it as a gift. The work by the hands of local old men in white costumes wigs out live abalone and hangs them in a cypress-built-up dry. Cut it to about 27cm and pass it through the straw. The dedication to the Ise Shrine is held three times a year: the monthly festival in June and December and the shinto festival in October.
