Iida City Art Museum, Nature Exhibition Room

The nature exhibition room of the Iida City Art Museum was renewed in July of the first year of Reiwa (2019). It displays the nature of the alpine belt in the Southern Alps, which is the southernmost grouse habitat in the world, and fossils of ammonites and paleoparadoxia from Inaya. You can read the QR code and hear the buzzfrog like a dog. The attached Planetarium Tenpo (Tenpo) shows original programs featuring the nature and culture of the region.

Mountain Foot Park

A 15-minute drive from Iida IC, a park with athletic playground equipment at the foot of Mt. Using the slopes leading from the forest, 21 wooden play equipment were installed in the forest. It is centered on play equipment with relatively low difficulty, such as a tarzan rope named ropeway, from a network, something like a suspension bridge. There are also mixed play equipment such as jungle gym and slides, which can be enjoyed by small children. The Oryuji River, which flows in the immediate vicinity, can go down to the waterside, so you can play in the water.

Yuan Zenko Temple

The main temple of Zenko-ji Temple in Nagano City was originally called by the name of Motozenko-ji Temple because it was located at this temple. The mortar, which is said to have shone during the laying of the main temple in the treasure hall, is worth a look.

Hoju Temple

The Zen temple is built on a hill overlooking the Tenryu River. Soken dates back to the Kamakura period, but the present surviving areas such as the Hōjō [hojō], the back [kuri], and the bell tower were built in the mid-Edo period, and the Kuromon in the Muromachi period. The gardens are famous, especially the flowers of rhododendrons (Kyomaru rhododendrons), which bloom around the consecutive holidays in May. It has been protected by generations of natural communities that have been breeding for more than 200 years, and is also called Rhododendron Temple.

Kashishin Temple

The ancient temple of the Jodo sect, which is over 430 years old. It is familiar as an open temple at the foot of the Central Alps. The main temple, the mountain gate, and the back of the back were founded by the former Kame 2 (1511) at the present location, followed by the second year of the Gyeongsang 2 (1597) Kaesan, and the second half of the temple. In 2008, the main hall and the bell tower were newly renovated.

Tour of the commandments

It is also said to be a Buddha-like tour of the body, walking through the dark corridor in the basement of the main temple of Motozenkoji. Near the center, you can also touch the locks of the paradise.

Iida Castle Sakuramaru Gomen (Akamon)

Built in the 4th year of the Holy Calendar (1754). It is called a red gate because it is painted with a red shell. Onigara has a plum pot-print [Umebachimon] from the Horiya, who was the lord lord. During the Edo period, it was used as a meeting place with the lord lord, and from the Meiji period, when Iida Castle was abandoned, it was used as the main gate of the county government office. On November 20, 1985, it was designated as Iida Tangible Cultural Property.

Shirabidaira Station

The starting station of the Komagedake Ropeway, which stands at an altitude of 1662m. It is also a bus departure and arrival point, and it is packed with many climbers in the summer. Y830 each way from Suganodai Bus Center and ¥ 1050 from JR Komagane Station.

ACN Shinshu Inaya Campers Village

A campsite like one of Japan's quietest hideouts, located in Ina Valley in Minami-Shinshu, sandwiched between the Central and Southern Alps. In addition to the auto camp site, camping at log houses and tree house log cabins is also possible. There are plenty of nature experience programs (Nature Craft Nature Guide) that can be enjoyed and played by children and adults.

Road Station Hana no Sato Ijima

Iijima, a town of water, greenery and flowers, with a view of the Central Alps and the Southern Alps and the two Alps. You can buy locally produced produce and processed products. Selling rice that has been milled around by a power mill. Very delicious and popular (except in winter).
