Maeyama Temple

The ancient temple opened by the Kobo Daishi as the Shugaku Reiba. The triple tower was designated as an Important Cultural Property. There is no edge [en] or scent column [koran] (handrail). Because of the fact that it is unfinished, its appearance is simple and beautiful, so it is known as “unfinished completed tower”. The specialty handmade walnut ohagi 750 yen (10-15 from April to the end of November, holiday: Thursday, Friday, reservation required) is a delicious sauce of local onion grumi. It is located in the middle of the Shiodadaira walking course, and many people stop by.
