Sanadaya

One of many antique shops in Ueda city. The store is lined with antiques worthy of a castle town, including items from the mid-Edo period, as well as period chests, braziers and period woodwork. Ueda Pake Fujimoto Tsumugi Studio

Ueda Road and River Station

Shotaro Ikenami Sanada Taiheikekan

"Sanada Taiheiji", written by Naoki Prize writer Shotaro Ikenami, is famous as a feature-length taiga novel depicting the way Sanada Masayuki, Nobuyuki and Yukimura lived in the Sengoku Ransei. There is a permanent display of "Sanada Taiheiji" coverage notes and Ikenami's remains, as well as a theater where you can enjoy the footage of Ueda, which was reproduced by cutting-paper painting, and an illustrated gallery. Ozawa Wood Art Museum

The museum, which displays about 1500 pieces of wood-carved work produced by peasant art guru Chiharu and Toshiharu. Ueda City Museum
