Ken Kuroi Picture Book House

A personal museum by Ken Kuroi, a picture book writer known for his signature work "Gongitsune" and "Buying a Hand Black". Illustrations, picture books and original drawings will be exhibited in four separate sessions from April to November. Gently wrap up the mind of the viewer in a unique technique of blurring colored pencils and pastels with oil.

Kiyosato Photo Art Museum

The world's premier museum of photography, wrapped in a clear atmosphere and deep greenery, under the theme of "Sympathy for Things That Are Life." participatory projects such as workshops are also held. In addition, works by young authors under the age of 35 are also purchased for a permanent collection and exhibited every year.

Ehon Museum Kiyosato

A museum dedicated to picture books on the meadow. In the exhibition room, the original drawings of picture book writers from Japan and abroad are changed every three months. There is also a cafe where you can read picture books for an hour.

Moeki's Village Music Box Hall Hall of Holes

A music box house located within the village of Moeki. The museum houses about 250 valuable music boxes, including the Limonaire 1900, an automatic performance organ. Seventy of them are on display at all times. There is a performance and commentary using the music box from the exhibit. About 30,000 Japanese dishes, including ceramics and lacquerware, are also on display. Take one hour.

Seisen Dormitory Jersey Hat

Kiyosato's specialty, "Seisen Doryo Soft Cream" (400 yen), which cannot be kept in line during the season, is sold here. A lot of Seisen dormitory original souvenirs that can only be bought here are also available. The attached bread factory sells freshly baked handmade bread every day, and the milk bar is rich in desserts and snacks, including organic jersey milk. Free foot baths are available on the Observation Terrace, where you can see the stunning views of Mount Fuji and the Southern Alps.

Forest of Kiyosato

A recreational facility with a variety of facilities, including a tennis court, a forest of about 2 million square meters spread over the southern foot of Yatsugatake, and a music hall and a restaurant, where families can enjoy a day.

Sun Meadows Kiyosato Highland Park

It operates as a ski resort in winter, Sun Meadows Kiyosato. In summer, the observation lift and restaurant are open, and you can enjoy a 10-minute aerial walk to the observation deck at an altitude of 1900m. From the summit of the mountain, "Kiyosato Terrace", you can see the Nobeyama plateau, as well as the high mountain of Chichibu. The restaurant operates about 40 kinds of buffets, mainly vegetables, and depending on the time of year, you can eat fresh and fresh vegetable dishes such as lettuce and cabbage, which are shipped directly from local farmers in Nobeyama.

Sun Meadows Kiyosato Ski Area

It is about 30 minutes away from any of the ICs in Sudama, Nagasaka and Kobusawa on Chūō-do, and is extremely popular with day skiers. The slopes are spread over an altitude of 1900m, which is characterized by a long season for the central road area. Family skiers also have a reputation for moving sidewalks on Snowland in Kids Park. During the summer, you can enjoy a view from the Kiyosato terrace at an altitude of 1900m and a natural buffet with plenty of plateau vegetables.

Kiyosato Forest Park Golf

Mini golf with a plastic ball with a diameter of about 6cm. From children to the elderly, the family can enjoy it. 1 round 18 holes 1050 yen (including tools).

Seisen Dormitory Jersey Ranch

A historic ranch established not long after the war. It raises about 110 Jersey cows with petite, brown body hair. If you are lucky, you can see the cows that are grazing at ease in the large meadow (the ranch grounds are off limits). At the Seisen dormitory farm shop across the road, guests can enjoy a menu of curry, doria and sweets using organic jersey milk, as well as dairy souvenirs.
