Kureha PA [up]

A parking area located between the Toyama Nishi IC and Kosugi IC on the Hokuriku Expressway. It is located in the center of Toyama Prefecture, where you can see Tateyama Renfeng on a good day. Toyama specialty "Masuno Sushi", "White Shrimp", "Firefly Squid" rice crackers, and delicacies are available. In the food court, Toyama B-class gourmet "Black Ramen" and white gems of Toyama Bay, "White shrimp tempura udon" using white shrimp is popular.

Kureha PA [down]

A parking area located between Kosugi IC and Toyama Nishi IC on the Hokuriku Expressway. You can see the Tateyama Renpong, which is a representative landscape of Toyama, and you can refresh your driving fatigue. Heal to the majestic figure of the mountains that change shape as the seasons change. I would like to taste the black thick soup with Toyama's B-class gourmet "Black Ramen" matched by toro-toro char siu and "White Shrimp Tempura Udon" with tempura made from white shrimp, which is said to be a jewel of Toyama Bay. "Plat Park" (7 to 20 o'clock) is attached, and PA facilities are also available from the general road.

Road Station Kamon Park Shin-Minato

It offers a rich selection of dishes and souvenirs, mainly the specialty "white shrimp", which is called the white jewel of Toyama Bay. "White Shrimp Kakiaodon" and "White Shrimp Burger" are popular local gourmets. "White shrimp sashimi" and "White shrimp senbei" are popular souvenirs. You can also observe the natural swimming fish of Toyama Bay in a large aquarium. It is a communication spot where you can enjoy watching and eating.

Imizu City Oshima Picture Book Hall

You can touch the world of picture books with about 10,000 picture books from Japan and abroad, as well as picture book original exhibitions by popular writers and picture book DVDs that are screened every day. In the workshop, you can also enjoy making picture books, crafting, and making goods on a personal computer. There is also a cafe so you can relax with your family.

Japan Sea Exchange Center

The facility is located in Kaio Maru Park. Kaio Maru Park is a great location where you can see not only the sailing ship Kaio Maru, which is called the Sea Lady, but also the most beautiful Toyama Bay in the world, the Tateyama Renpong over the sea, and the Shin-Minato Bridge, the largest cable-stayed bridge on the Sea of Japan side. It is one of the leading tourist spots in Toyama Prefecture. The Japan Sea Exchange Center located in the Kaio Maru Park is a facility to deepen understanding and knowledge of marine culture. It is a popular base for transmitting information about the sea, including the world's models of sailing ships, as well as exhibits on the sea, ports, and ships.

Imizu City New Minato Museum

A museum showcasing the distinctive history, folklore and culture of Hojozu [Hōjozu], which has flourished as a Minato town, and the surrounding Imizu [Imizu] plain, with its guardian places located in the Kamakura and Muromachi periods. Nobuyoshi Ishiguro, born in Takagi, Imizu City, in the Edo period, and the following four generations, related to summation, surveying, painting, astronomical calendar, etc. He has always exhibited works by Munema Ishiguro, a potter who is a native of the city and is a human national treasure. Five times a year, he holds a planned exhibition and a collection of items.

Sea King Bird Park

Kaio Bird Park is a facility that provides a place for contact with the sea and nature at the Toyama Shinko West side landfill. Many wild birds fly in blessed environments such as ponds, reed beds, and trees throughout the four seasons, making it an oasis for wild birds in the Imizu Bay area. Wild birds can perform observation from observation centers, observation huts, and four observation walls. Let's meet many wild birds at Kaio Bird Park. At least six times a month on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays (9:30-16:00), wild bird commentary is conducted by wild bird commentary leaders. It is located a 5-minute walk from Kaio Maru Park, so let's stop by all means.

Kosugi Maruyama Ruins Park

The workshop, kilns, etc., which built the late Suitori period and tiles were excavated, and it has become a nationally designated historic site as a valuable archaeological site that allows you to know the full extent of the production of shōjō at that time. The site of Hokuriku's oldest tile pottery kiln is a semi-underground climbing kiln, which is 7m long and 2m wide. There is also a museum of materials and a house of birdworkers, which introduces commentary on the ruins and excavated items.

Prefectural Park Taiyushan Land

The prefecture's largest urban park, boasting an area of 1.18 million square meters. It is also known as a spot for cherry blossoms, hydrangeas and water lilies, as well as a 30,000-square-meter pool square (only in summer) with 20,000 square meters of rolling lawn plaza, observation tower and eight types of pools. About 1400 paid parking lots (400 yen a day for a regular car, free from December to March).

Tottori's Village

Tottori-no-sato is the first place name in the prefecture to appear in the oldest Japanese history book, Kojiki; the Hachiman Shrine stands beside the Ōshima picture book hall, and a stone monument inscribed "Takashi-no-kuni-Tottori-no-sato" stands in the Yawata-sha precinct.
