Nodding Friends Hall

It is located within the nodding of the roadside station and has a library and a historical and folk museum. There is a large model that partially restored one of the three-piece bridges in Japan that used to span the Kurobe River, the Aimoto-hashi [Hanebashi], and its appearance is a masterpiece. It is a bridge without piers built by projecting large trees from both banks one step at a time, and marvels at the wisdom of our people trying to overcome the torrent. Special exhibitions are also held.

Kawara Observation Deck and Ashiyu

A great point to overlook Okuyō Mountain, Meiken Mountain, and Okuchō Bridge, which are the highlights of Kohei. At the observatory, there is a foot bath that has been pulled from the Meiyu Grandmother Valley, which heals the body that has walked around the area. It was about an 80-minute ride from Kurobe Gorge Railway Unazuki Station. Let's relieve the fatigue of traveling by using foot baths.

Buddha Stone

There is a stone Buddha with a red headcloth on the way of the Kurobe Gorge Trocco train (Yanagi-hashi Station-Mori-Ishibashi). It is named because the natural rock resembles the appearance of a Buddha, and it is said that the mountaineers prayed for safety. Within the Kurobe Gorge Railway Line, only the car window observation (with guidance by in-car broadcasting in advance).

It is an old tree of Edhigan, which is more than 400 years old and 13m high, and the giant tree is rare in the prefecture. It is also familiar to the local people as "the great cherry of tomorrow [Akebi]", and the "Tomorrow's Children Dance", which is designated as a national important intangible folk culture, is also performed on the third Sunday of April every year.

Cannibstone

From Kōdaira, the road that leads along the grandmother's valley. The figure made by hollowing out the rock face of Okuyō Mountain is like swallowing a walking person. It is about 80 minutes from the Kurobe Gorge Railway Unazuki Station.

The rock wall of the mouse

It rises on the opposite bank, a little downstream from the Nekomata Station of the Kurobe Gorge Torrocco train. It is a rock wall made of granite with a height of 200m, and the rats who had been chased by cats also turned back without being able to climb, so they came to be called this. Also, the cat who followed the rat turned back because he could not climb the rock wall, so he came to this area as a cat. Within the Kurobe Gorge Railway Line, only the car window observation (with guidance by in-car broadcasting in advance).

East Bell Diangshan

It is a mountain from which the station name is derived, and it is shaped like a face-down bell of a temple, so this name was given to it; within the Kurobe Gorge Railway line, about 60 minutes ride, only the car window observation (with guidance by in-car broadcast in advance).

Six peaks out

A rocky mountain with its sheer peaks on the lakeside of the Deheiji Dam, which plays a wonderful landscape regardless of the season; and on the Kurobe Gorge Railway line, only the car window observation (with guidance in advance by in-car broadcast).

Monkey Fei Gorge (Jingyun Gorge)

The river is the narrowest of the Kurobe Gorge, and it is said that a monkey jumped over once. It is a scenic spot that was also selected as the country's special winner and special natural monument. There is an observation deck at Sarufei Gorge, and you can enjoy it in close proximity. It was about an 80-minute ride from Kurobe Gorge Railway Unazuki Station.
