Road Station Kiyokawa

Roadside station nestled in Kiyokawa Village, the only village in Kanagawa Prefecture. On the first floor of the station building, the exchange promotion center "Seiryu-no-kan", there is a corner for specialty products, vegetables and souvenirs, and processed products of freshly picked vegetables and finely fleshy brand pork "Kiyokawa Esui Pork", it has a large selection of specialty products, such as "Kiyokawancha", which is made from local tea "Kiyokawacha". The second floor is complete with a craft corner, including woodwork and ceramics, and a dining hall, a rest room, and a tourist guide corner, where the Esui Pork Bowl is popular. A variety of cooking cars line up in front of the station building on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, and it is crowded with many people.

Miyakase Dam Water and Energy House

The Water Museum, where you can learn while experiencing the role of the dam and the use of water resources. The Miyakase Dam regularly releases sightseeing, and this is also a must-see.

Yasugayama Ikoino Forest

A forest full of nature with good access from the city center. You can enjoy hiking and athletic. Athletics that make use of the slopes of the mountain range from those with a high degree of difficulty to those that can be enjoyed by small children. A majestic view opens from the observation deck at the summit of the mountain, and there is a Hachisuge Shrine at the foot of the mountain.

Kanagawa Prefectural Aikawa Park

A 510,000-square-meter park with a natural observation forest spread in the shape of river terraces just below Miyagase Dam. There is a walking trail in the park, and there is a park center standing at the entrance, a children's square with a fluffy dome of trampoline, a local museum, and a craft workshop village where you can experience indigo dyeing, weaving, paper making, etc. Forty species and 44,000 azaleas are blooming on the flower slopes in spring, and the adventure forest of the athletic complex, which has large play equipment such as a giant tree and a tarzan ride, is very popular with children. The tour of Miyagase Dam's dynamic tourist release is by road train from the front of the park center.

Nakagawa Onsen Bunanoyu

A municipal hot spring facility that stands at the innermost of Nakagawa Onsen, one of Takeda Shingen's hidden hot water. The name of the hall is after the beech tree, a symbolic presence of Nishitanzawa. It is located at the bottom of a valley along a mountain stream, at the innermost part of the inn, and the approach is narrow in topography, so careful driving is required in the case of cars. The single-sex baths are tiled large baths, and rock-built open-air baths. The large bathhouse is a bright bathroom with plenty of lighting. There is no dining room, but food and drink are allowed in the great hall on the second floor.

Ayusawa PA [Up]

A parking area located just past the prefectural border between Shizuoka and Kanagawa prefectures on the Tomei Expressway and Uphill Line. There is a drinking fountain, a dog park with a trash can set up, and you can play with your pet dog in a spacious dog park, with a view of Mount Fuji. The shopping corner also sells goods for pet dogs. The number of seats in the 24-hour food court is one of the largest among Tomei Expressway's PAs. "Ginger-grilled set meal" is very popular. In addition to the facilities of a coin shower and a coin-operated laundry (9 to 23 o'clock), there is also a "Platto Park" which can be used 24 hours a day.

Ayusawa PA [Descent]

Parking area located in the prefectures of Shizuoka and Kanagawa prefectures. The Tomei Expressway on the section where the PA is located is divided into a right route and a left route, and the PA can only be used from the left route. Perhaps because it is close to the Tanzawa Mountains, the shop has a lineup of outdoor brand "mont-bell". There are plenty of limited products with original designs in collaboration with PA. At the "Yamatoya Shokudo", Ayusawa PA specialty "Yokubari set meal" is popular. If you are hungry, the specialty "Tanzawa Anpan" is also recommended.

Lake Tanzawa Memorial Hall

It is located at the base of the Eidosashi Bridge over the center of Lake Tanzawa. The village, which sank to the bottom of the lake at the same time as the completion of the Miho Dam, is introduced by photo and so on. It takes 20 minutes.

Shanbei Railway Park

About 120 Yoshino cherry trees on each side along the Gotemba line are in bloom, and a cherry-blossom tunnel is formed.

Lake Tanzawa

An artificial lake formed in the upper reaches of the Sakawa River by the completion of the Miho Dam in 1978. In addition to nature observation and bird watching, it is a leisure spot where you can enjoy boating (SUP) and fishing. It has a good view from the Eigai Bridge over the center of the lake, and at the base of the bridge is the Tanzawa Lake Memorial Hall and, adjacent to it, the Miho house where a private house was relocated and restored from the district submerged at the bottom of the lake.
