Rijima Fishing Co-op Nejima Works

A mixture of flying fish and muro-mackerel, we sell a frozen pack of 300g in 540 yen ~ unique to Shiki Island. Made by the Fishing Co-op Women's Department, using fish that were landed on that day. With soft texture and taste, children and adults can enjoy it. It can be put in miso soup, fried or made into a Japanese-style hamburger. The handmade taste has attracted a reputation, and they also ship it to restaurants and school lunches in Tokyo.

Ikemura Shoten

A shop that sells freshly baked bread and bento boxes made from island ingredients. There are about 30 kinds of freshly baked every morning, such as recommended rice bread (cinnamon, kinako, tomorrow leaf), 150 yen each, melon bread, and bread. The prepared foods, which are available at about 15 different types on a daily basis, such as Tomorrow Leaf Bento 580 yen, Isonori Bento 540 yen, Tataki Fried and Tomorrow Leaf dishes, are also well received.

Popeye Marine

A night-bug & star-watching night cruise of 2500 yen to tour the mysterious light-emitting night-bug from the ship. If you make a reservation, you can pick it up to the hotel. Open in July-August only.

Oura Sports Square

It reopened on April 1, 2020. You can enjoy tennis, futsal, basketball, soft valley and skateboarding. Tennis is 880 yen per hour (rental available), others are available free of charge. There are two mini-lamps in the skate park, which can be enjoyed by beginners and advanced people. 20 minutes walk from Nobushi Port.

Night Beach

A beautiful fan-shaped, wave-quiet inlet located near the port of Nobushi, northern Shihone Island. It is shallow and safe for families. Many fish can be seen even in shallow places, perfect for snorkeling.

Stone Shirakawa Beach

A white-sand beach located in the southeastern part of Shikinegashima near the port of Shikinegashima and the onsen-gayuyu, which is conveniently close to the hot springs and eateries.

Nobushi Port

Jetfoil, a port that plays the role of the island's gateway as a departure and arrival point where the line of communication between Shikinen and Niijima comes and goes. In addition to the tourist information center and the waiting area for Tokai Kisen, there are the Nijima Fishing Co-op Shiki Nejima Works, which manufactures and sells freshly made from Aomuro and flying fish. At times other than when the ship arrives and departs, the vicinity of the pier is a spot for fishing.

Obama Port

A small, quiet harbor located at the halfway point between the Takamori Lighthouse site and the Kokuchi Observation Deck.
