Chiba City Central Library

Chiba Park is just around the corner, and you can enjoy reading in a bright and calm atmosphere surrounded by greenery. There are more than 1 million books, and there is also a study space, such as a study room.

Chiba City Museum of Art

A unique museum with a building that preserved the pre-war banking architecture in the Neo-Renaissance style. A permanent exhibition room where you can always see the highlights of about 10,000 collections such as Ukiyo-e and other "Early and Modern Japanese Paintings and Prints", "Contemporary Art", and "Works related to Boso". A museum that a wide range of ages can be friendly, such as a project where visitors can participate in space creation together with artists. There is also a cafe on the first floor and a shop where you can enjoy sake on the first floor of the basement. You can enjoy the view of the restaurant on the 11th floor.

Local Museum of Chiba City

A museum of the shape of a castle in Inohana Park. You can learn about the history of Chiba City from ancient times to modern times, and the samurai Chiba who built the cornerstone of the city of Chiba. There are also events such as a wearing experience (reservation required) that can be selected from more than 10 types of historical costumes, and a "little old playing experience" that can be enjoyed by small children.

Chiba City Science Museum

Participation experience-type science theater that “people are the leading role” that values communication from person to person, which captures science from everyday perspective and can be enjoyed by children to adults. The permanent exhibition, which has 140 experience exhibits, aims to introduce the question of the sudden days and the phenomenon of casually looking over, by connecting it with science, and to share awareness with visitors. Events such as workshops are also held around the weekend. The largest planetarium in the prefecture is located inside the giant sphere of the complex Kiboru. The number of stars projected is over 10 million, and a variety of programs with digital images projected onto the whole sky are enriched.

Chiba Park Swimming Pool

An outdoor pool with a large number of people in the summer with a 50m pool (9 courses), a children's pool and a waddling pool from the Japan Swimming Federation.

Chiba Park

Located in the city center, a 10-minute walk from JR Chiba Station, it is a comprehensive park surrounded by greenery. You can enjoy it at "Shiba Garden" where facilities such as lotus pond and boating to see the world's oldest flower "Ogahas" and cafes gather in the lawn square.

Pig Nose Park

About 90 cherry trees, including Yoshino cherry trees, are planted, and in the spring, it is a popular spot for flower viewing. In the park, there is also "Inohana Tei" (time: 9-17) where you can enjoy tea while looking at the Japanese garden.
