Sugawara Amenity Park

The water and green park spread along the Sugata River, with streams and cherry trees, and the windmill observation deck inlaid with stained glass with a Grimm fairy tale motif after the city's international sister city of Shimono, Germany's Dietschherztal, giving a full view of Sugata River and the distant Nikkurenzan.

Shitono Yakushi Temple Site

奈良の東大寺、福岡の観世音寺とともに日本三戒壇の一つとよばれた寺跡。東国で仏門に入る者は、ここで戒律を受けたという。現在回廊の一部を復元し、史跡公園となっている。戒壇だったと伝えられる場所には江戸末期に建立された六角堂がある。

Masita

A craft handed down by the Watanabe family from generation to generation, the Japanese string is made by assembling the silk threads of various herbaceous silk threads of gold thread and silver thread. It is transmitted from the Kamakura era in a technique that involves attaching weights to each end of the thread and then cleverly crossing them to produce laces with intricate patterns while the thread is always strung. Blueberry Farm

1.2haもの畑でラビットアイ系とハイブッシュ系の計1200本のブルーベリーを有機・減農薬を心がけて栽培。夏にはたくさんの草花に囲まれてブルーベリーの摘み取りを満喫できる。園内では自家製ジャムやソースのほか、近隣農家から持ち込まれる新鮮な野菜なども販売。ピザ窯、バーベキュー施設あり。

Strawberry village

180棟のビニールハウスで、イチゴ狩り(11月下旬~6月上旬)が楽しめる観光農園。その他、桃(6月下旬~9月下旬頃)、ぶどう(8月中旬~9月下旬)等、季節の果物狩りも行っている(それぞれ要予約、実の生育状況により期間変動あり)。売店では、自家農園産の果物を使用したジャムやケーキなどの加工品を販売。併設のレストランでは地産地消ビュッフェ、カフェではパンケーキがそれぞれ大人気。車で訪れる場合は、カーナビ検索にベリーベリーマルシェ(TEL:0285-33-1120)を設定がおすすめ。

Road Station Shikawa

From fresh vegetables, rice and fruits to traditional crafts, the directly selling, product and processing facility "Koyama Narokan", "Koyama Shokudo Sakura", which boasts a taste of local ingredients such as Oyama Wagyu beef and Koyama pork "Oton", "Koyama Shōjō-kan", where various events such as exhibitions and concerts are held every week, and "Wai Wai Square", which can be used for playgrounds and rest, is a gathering of the roadside station. Koyama General Park

Adjacent to a heated pool and gymnasium, a comprehensive park with a variety of facilities including a lawn square and a BBQ field. Water athletics are set up on the babbling flowing through the park. There are six types of activities, using logs, nets, and a ladder, and crossing the babble. The target age is 6 to 12 years. The water depth is 10-15cm, so you can play safely. It is recommended to bring a change of clothes and a towel as it may get wet in the water. You can also play in the park, such as rental of a transforming bicycle or fountain square (summer vacation period only).

Shikawa cherry blossoms in Shikawa green space

The cherry-lined tree on the east side of Hakuoh University (on the west side embankment of the lower Kankōbashi) is one of the places of sight of "Shikawa Sakura", originally from Oyama Ichihara. It is usually about a week after Yoshino, and you can see the rare cherry blossoms with 10 bright pink petals. The Omoigawazakura (Sakura Shikawa), which blooms from the left and right of the boardwalk, has a beautiful view that makes you feel spring when it is in full bloom, and is a popular spot crowded with flower visitors.
