Nakagawa Town Nasu Fengeki Hill Museum

It provides a comprehensive and systematic commentary on the history and culture of Nasu, a distinctive feature from the Jōmon period to the Nara and Heian period, under the permanent theme of "The Trails of the Reverend Nasu Ancient Culture". It takes 30 minutes. A 10-minute drive away is the Otawara-shi Nasu-do-no-Oka Yuzu-gami Museum.

Hometown Forest Park

I would also like to stop at the Fengdoki Hill Museum, which introduces local culture, as well as the Thatched-roofed Folk Museum, and the Fureai no Sha in Soba-dokoro.

Roadside Station Takanezawa Genki Apumura

The 25th roadside station in Tochigi Prefecture. At the glamping facility, you can enjoy authentic BBQ using local ingredients in an American mobile home. In addition to a direct sale of produce, which sells local vegetables, fruits, rice, etc., there is also a full take-out menu, including a BBQ house and Japanese restaurant using local ingredients, and a hot dog using unadded gelato and white-yang pork. You can also enjoy popular hot spring facilities from the past.

Ooshan Line

The local line, the Osan Line, which connects eight stations between Hōkouji Station in the town of Takanezawa and Osan Station in the city of Nasu, in about 34 minutes. Shichifukujin appears in the character of each station because there is a station with a well-known name of "treasure" and big "kin". Take a two-car local line and go sightseeing along the line.

Chokura Square

At the east exit of the station, there are storehouses of Oya Ishi. The building was once used as a rice brewery, and it was revived as an information theater and concert hall. It also pays attention to designs by architect Kengo Kuma. The hall is available as a band practice studio (¥ 1250 per hour).

Kinu Green Park

About 1 million cosmos compete in late September-mid-October on the riverbed of the Kinu River; mid-April-early May, rape blossoms, and mid-May-early June, poppies also bloom in the Shirasawa area.

Nasu Osan City Sightseeing Mikan Garden

Nasu-Karuyama City is located in the northern limit as an area where mandarins can be cultivated because of the climate where frost is difficult even in winter. There are 7 sightseeing mandarin gardens, and you can enjoy picking mandarin oranges from late October to early December, such as Miyagawa Hayao and Matsuyama Hayao. It is so popular that sightseeing buses come from far.

Ishikawa strawberry garden

It is an all-you-can-eat 30 minutes, and you can eat Tochiaika. We have an appointment to eat ripe strawberries at any time. Strawberry picking starts around March.

Big Money Suspension Bridge

A 97m long, 3m wide humanitarian bridge over the Arakawa River, a tributary of the clear stream Naka River. It is an unusual suspension bridge in the asymmetric world with a 21.5m high main tower on only one side. The night is lit up and in a fantastic mood. There is an observation deck when you pass through the tunnel at the end of the crossing, and you can see all the views of Arakawa and the town of Daigan. It is also part of a walking trail of about 7km, about 2 hours, around the green babbling Yūyō walking course, which starts at Daigo Station on the JR Osan Line.
