Road Station Wind W

An impressive road station with walls and a white domed roof utilizing concrete materials. The main facility is the popular "Tōmaae Onsen Furobutto", which has a popular open-air bath with a view of the Teuri and Yakijiri islands floating in the Sea of Japan. You can stay and take a day bath in the atmosphere of a resort hotel. The restaurant "Fume Yume" offers an extensive menu of Japanese, Western, and Chinese products using fresh sea products, including the specialty "Ama Shrimp Don". "Specialty Store 710" has a selection of marine products and handmade crafts. The adjacent Yuyogaoka Auto Campground, White Beach and Miraigang Park are popular outdoor spots for families.

Kotan-Kōgakaoka Park

It is located in the middle of a mountain, and is a green paradise in Dokita, which shows cherry blossoms, wisteria, azalea in early summer, and autumn leaves and changes beautifully through the four seasons in autumn. The Okigaoka Park Cherry Blossom Festival starts from 1971, and there is a free entry event on Sundays (one day only) in mid-May. Yakiniku stove, Ami free loan. There is a store opening. Roadside Station Obira Nishin Banya

A roadside station that stands in front of the Sea of Japan along Route 232. It consists of three facilities, the Kodaira-cho Tourism Exchange Center and the Food Supply Facility, and the former Hanada-Iabanya, and the Tourism Exchange Center and Food Supply Facility are unified with an exterior design tailored to the former Hanada-Iabanya. In addition to selling Kodaira-produced octopus products and specialty products such as miso, the tourist exchange center also houses the "History and Culture Preservation Exhibition Hall", which displays herring fishing tools and daily necessities of the time. "Nishin no Sanpei Souu" and "Nishin Tinkodon" are recommended at the restaurant Nishin Banya, a food supply facility. At the old Hanada House, a country-designated important cultural property of the late Meiji era architecture, the former Hanada House is amazed by its magnificent construction.

Kodaira Dam Park

The park is located on the west side of Kodaira Dam's reservoir "Obirashibe Lake". Life-sized Kubinagaryu is displayed and is a symbol of the town. A "tsudoi to get close to the forest and the lake" event is also held in late July every year.

Iwao Onsen

A day-trip hot spring facility located on a small hill along the Yuwuyu coast that you would like to stop in the middle of the Orolore Drive. It is recommended in the evening when you can see the sunset over the Sea of Japan. There is also an open-air bath outside the inner-water bath.

Rumoi City Umi Hometown Hall

It stands on Cape Kogane, which protrudes into the Sea of Japan. It introduces about the birth of the Sea of Japan, as well as the culture of Rumoi and the history of its prosperity through herring fishing. There is also an observation lounge. It takes 20 minutes.

Horonobe Town Reindeer Sightseeing Ranch

A rare reindeer sightseeing ranch all over the country that raises about 40 reindeer. It is also possible to buy 200 yen bait and give it directly to reindeer. In winter, the reindeer sledding experience is also recommended.

Rich Town Fureai Center

A town-run day-by-day hot spring facility that pulls a rare hot spring where the oil that was sprung up when the oil was drilled is mixed. The skin of the hot water is moist and smooth. Since it is a land of dairy farming, you can also enjoy the hot milk of the hot water, and the local ezo venison and Genghis Khan, which can be eaten at the in-house restaurant.

Sarobetu Moor Center

Guided facility standing at the entrance of Sarobetu Moor. Under the theme of "symbiosis between people and nature", the structure of the moor and the latest natural information can be known throughout the year. A barrier-free wooden path (1km a lap) has been maintained, and you can enjoy the vast scenery and the flora and fauna of the moor in close proximity. Also on display outdoors are peat industrial buildings and dredgers that tell the history of peat mining to the present day.

Palace Tower Observation Deck

If you go up to the observation deck on a small hill, you can see the majestic view of the Sarobetu Wilderness in front of you, and on a clear day you can also see the well-appointed figure of Mount Rishiri.
