In the Edo period, the site of the departure of Tamiya Rinzō and others for the first exploration of the birch; the monument of the departure of Tamiya Rinzō is built; and there is also a standing statue of Tamiya Rinzō at Cape Soya, about 3km away.

Behind Cape Soya, the rolling hills created by the peri-glacial topography formed during the glacial period spread, creating a unique landscape that has been recognized as the Hokkaido Heritage Site. You can also see the scenery where Soya Kuroshushi looks leisurely on the grass, and 57 wind generators, one of the largest in the country, receive the wind in a relaxed way.

It is located at 45 degrees 31 minutes 22 seconds north latitude, the northernmost point of the main island of Hokkaido, and has a long view of the island shadow of Sakhalin. On the cape stands a monument to Japan's northernmost land of a triangular pyramid with the letter "N" representing the north, with a motif of the one edge of the polar star, in the central part. There is also a statue of an explorer, Rinzo Namiya, which attracts many tourists as a well-dressed memorial spot.

A lush green park on the northern shore of Onuma. The site, which is about 67ha, is dotted with facilities to enjoy the outdoors, including an auto campsite, a barbecue corner, and a visitor center with an indoor amusement park. From the observation zone, there is a large 360-degree panorama overlooking the Soya Strait and Rishiri Fuji.

Along National Route 238, which runs from Wakkanai city to Cape Soya. From mid-May to late July, about 200 species of flowers, such as hamanas and canzou, color the wilderness.

A road station that looks like a ship sailing in the Sea of Okhotsk. Esashi-cho boasts the nation's top-class amount of hairy crab flying, and you can also enjoy fresh seafood at the station building restaurant. Among them, "Hotate Curry", which is a fried scallop and topped, is a popular dish. The “Sea Products Corner”, which has a large selection of processed products that are perfect for fresh sea products and souvenirs, is also popular, and will be crowded with many customers on a continuous day. In the Sea of Okhotsk, which spreads right around the corner, you can enjoy swimming, so it is recommended to stop by as a meal or a resting place after leisure.

A road station featuring a log house-style exterior. It doubles as a quiet campsite surrounded by greenery, and a "Pinnesiri Auto Campground" administration building, allowing not only drive breaks, but also auto camping and cottages and camping box accommodation. There is also a laundromat available 24 hours a day. The cottage is fully equipped with TVs, refrigerators and a range, so it is well received that you can feel free to experience the outdoors just by bringing in groceries. The whole family is attractive to be able to spend a relaxing time in the spacious and beautiful nature.

A day-trip hot spring facility where you can enjoy a view of Lake Kutcharo while taking a bath. "Bijin no yu", which contains a lot of hydrogen carbonate ions, is easy with a slushy skin.

In summer, Kutciaro Lake is full of people who enjoy canoeing and windsurfing. You can also enjoy outdoor life along with water activities. The moment the sun sets, the whole lake is stained red and becomes a fantastic sight.

A large number of migratory birds, including swans, come to rest their wings in a lake under the Ramsar Convention for the purpose of protecting the moors. There is an exhibition space on the lake's natural environment.
