Dream Eating

A station dealership on the road in Japan's northernmost village adjacent to the Sarufutsu Ranch. The store name is named by Professor Kitano Omae Meidai. "Sarufutsudo no Ekiben Scallop Meshi" is a manufacturer and sales source of 680 yen, and sells processed scallops, crabs, salmon and other products that are famous for Sarufutsu. The 400 yen for the Kokemo soft serve, which can only be bought here, and the 460 yen for the Kokemo Senbei are well received. A new "Michinoben Ekiben Scallop Meshi no" 880 yen is on sale nationwide.

Road Station Sarufutsu Park

Roadside station located in a corner of the vast green space of Sarufutsu village, the northernmost village in Japan. In Sarufutsu-mura, scallops are very popular, and in restaurants you can taste scallops curry. Enjoy the local cuisine and nature of the Sea of Okhotsk at the roadside station on the coastline.

The roadside station is marked by the Land Tower, which has an observatory with the image of an airship, and is a symbol of the town. The observation deck "Sky Cabin" offers a panoramic view of the Sea of Okhotsk, and in winter, a large panorama of drift ice is a touching view. The shop "Ippukuya" inside the station building sells souvenirs and shochu, and in the snack corner you can also taste "そば Soba", a specialty of Yutake-cho. The feature is that it contains abundant rutin, which has an excellent effect of improving blood flow compared to ordinary buckwheat noodles. Among them, "Dattan soba with croquette" is popular.

Deer Ranch Park

A ranch run by the Deer Research Society, which fences about 7ha of grassland, allows you to see the sika deer relaxing on the ranch up close, and a baby rush around mid-June also shows the appearance of a deer that is sweet to its mother.

Roadside station

A roadside station featuring a cute orange color in the village of Seikakabe. In the specialty corner, "matsutake shochu" and canned venison "deer dream can" are well received, and in the resting corner, you can taste soft ice cream while looking at the flowers and woods around you. The Karakuri Organ "Oto-Ki-Hayashi", which resonates in the hall, is a built-in wooden whistles of several dozen, and is characterized by the sound and puppets moving along with the melody by the force of the wind.

North Plain Farm Milk Hall

North Plain Farm's directly operated restaurant, where you can enjoy soft ice cream with freshly squeezed milk and a hamburger menu full of homemade cheese. Milk products such as milk, butter cheese and yogurt, sweets such as fermented buttery cake are also sold. The meal menu is only at lunchtime (11-14).

Road Station Okopp

A roadside station created on the site of the abandoned JR Nayoro Main Line's Kakube Station. It is located in "Joy Park", a park with a fountain and wheel objects, with the main facility being the "Anyuu" Kakubu Transportation Memorial Complex. Inside the facility, there is a railway history corner, which displays such items as rails and panels spelling out the history that were actually used on the Meiyo Main Line, and a "Okokopu goods house", which sells dairy products from the dairy town of Kobu. "Okhotsk Okopp Organic Milk" is popular for its natural taste. The Lugotha Express, a refurbished diesel car in the Joy Park, is used by many people as a simple accommodation and rest area.

Road Station Scented Village Takinoue

A fairy tale-inspired road station. There is a sales office on the first floor with products using herbs and specialty products such as woodwork, and fresh cream cheese made in the "Tsuki no Cheese" workshop in Takigami town is well received. We have five flavors and are perfect for souvenirs. There is also a tea corner where you can taste herbal tea.

Shiba Zakura Takijo Park

In the center of the city of Sakaigami, on a small hill, is "Shibazakura Takigami Park". From the beginning of May to the beginning of June, the grass grass that blooms all over began with a seedling of a "mandarin box". It has grown year by year and now has become a large community of 100,000 square meters, and its scale is said to be the largest in Japan. The small, lovely flowers of pink are not only vivid, but also envelops the city in a sweet scent.

Ice pack icebreaker Garinco

The Galinko, which has a bright red body and two special screws, was originally an icebreaker built for the development of oil fields in Alaska. It is registered as Hokkaido Heritage Site in 2004. The cabin is fully heated. Summer tours such as cruise (January-March) through drift ice that fills the coast of Okhotsk in a white color, and fishing for the summer are also popular.
