The 55th Maruoka Castle Festival

Although there are nearly 100 buildings in the country called "Tenjon", only 12 castles are left to the present day. Among them, the "Marooka Castle Tenkaku", perched on a small hill in the center of Marooka-cho, Sakai City, Fukui Prefecture, has continued to keep the standing Tenkaku. The "Marooka Kojo Festival" will be held with this Marooka Castle Tenjō and the surrounding square as the venue. It is performed in a gorgeous manner such as a warrior procession and a total dance. * The contents may be changed or canceled depending on the situation.
