The 69th Okinawa All Island Acer Festival to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the enforcement of Okinawa City

Acer, which has been held as a Bon event to feed the spirits of ancestors, has now become completely familiar outside Okinawa. This dance, which is transmitted in a unique style to all parts of the main island and remote islands, is also a wind poem that colors the summer of Okinawa, and the All Okinawa Acer Festival is the largest Acer event in Okinawa, which attracts more than 300,000 spectators in three days. On Friday, the first day of the festival, "Dōjeune", which runs around the Goya Crossroads while dancing Acer, is also popular.
