The 69th Okinawa All Island Acer Festival to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the enforcement of Okinawa City

Acer, which has been held as a Bon event to feed the spirits of ancestors, has now become completely familiar outside Okinawa. This dance, which is transmitted in a unique style to all parts of the main island and remote islands, is also a wind poem that colors the summer of Okinawa, and the All Okinawa Acer Festival is the largest Acer event in Okinawa, which attracts more than 300,000 spectators in three days. Tanegashima Gun Festival

The Tanegashima Gun Festival, which is held every year to commemorate the transmission of the gun, with about 5000 fireworks at night.

Yufuin Film Festival

Fourteen Japanese movies will be screened, a symposium will be held, and 10 previous films and four new special test-screenings will be screened.

Tsuru-shi flower umbrella festival (fireworks display)

The fireworks display is held on the second day of the "Tsuru-shi Hanaikusho Festival", an intangible folk property designated by Oita Prefecture. After the fireworks have colored the night sky, the "Mikawamari" Shinto ritual, where the Mikamikoshi crosses up to the opposite bank of the Yamakuni River is held.

Fushi Jizo Festival

The Hibushi Jizo Festival is a festival that is held with the Hibushi prayer service because the Jizo-do was destroyed by repeated fires. It originated in Eiroku 6 (1563) in the area of the Ma-Mihara shopping district and is a historic festival that has been held for more than 300 years. In the courageous naked mikoshi of the young people, the Kamikoshi with the Jizō-sama on board is milled and walked around in various places in the town, while the water is applied to the Gokase River, and the water is applied to pray for fire shelter. Fireworks from the Gokase River are set off on Sunday night.

Tsuru-shi flower umbrella stand festival

About 860 years ago, the mother and child of Okuru and Ichitaro became human pillars in order to complete the Iyari, and were celebrated at Tsuruichi Shrine. Nineteen units of Hanaburan and one of the Kamikoshi are kneading around 40km of the road in the eye-seeing Aota, to comfort the two spirits along with wishing for a good harvest of five rice. On the last day, there is a river crossing of the Mikkoshi and a fireworks display.

Summer Night Fireworks

Huis Ten Bosch will host the summer wind poem "Summer Night Fireworks" for 19 days. There is also a sale of special fireworks seats where powerful fireworks are launched in front of you, so it is recommended to watch slowly from the seat.
