2024 Summer Festival Fireworks Festival

The "Iashiki Summer Festival Fireworks Festival" (until the merger, "Edozaki Summer Festival Fireworks Festival") was a festival that started in 1996. It boasts one of the largest launches in Ibaraki Prefecture, and attracts the audience with its beauty and power. Among them, Starmine, which adorns the finale, is a masterpiece, decorating the night sky of Inashiki.

The 43rd Sakado River Fireworks Festival in Sugagawa

One of the best fireworks displays in Fukushima Prefecture. A variety of fireworks, such as music creation fireworks, super-large star mines and Niagara, from several places along with the performance of shakutama by famous fireworks artists, will brightly color the summer night sky. From the paid bleachers where you can view the fireworks slowly without worrying about the location, you can see the great fireworks up close, so it has become so popular that it is sold out every year.

Tsukuba Mirai no Fire (Xiaozhang Matsushita-ryū)

It is said to have been devised by Matsushita Ishimi-shige, who was the lord of the castle from the Middle Ages to the early modern era. It is also said that Shiga was a gunpowder man who handled an iron gun. From a relationship in which Yoshiemon Ohashi, who served as a vassal, was an assistant, he was taught to concoction gunpowder and so on, and named him Matsushita-ryu. The festival at the Kohari Atago Shrine is carried out every year on the evening of August 23, and the next day, 24, a fire is dedicated. It is currently dedicated to praying for and dedicated fire protection, and is preserved and handed down by the Xiaozhang Matsushita Ryugan Fire Preservation Society.
