Capital Sending

In one of Hiraizumi's summer style poems, about 200m of "large" is lit on the "large" characters at the Tazuma-sen series Komagata, which is likened to Higashiyama in Kyoto, and rises in the night sky. This "dai" character is reproduced from the Chuson-ji Sutra, which was dedicated by Fujiwara Kiyohira to Chuson-ji Ochikyo, and has become an event for the memorial service for the victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake, the pursuit of Fujiwara Yotsuyohira and Genyosuke, and the ancestral generation.

Morioka Funako Sink

An event that mourns the spirits of the ancestors and prays for no-sickness. It takes place on the upper right bank of the Meiji Bridge on the Kitakami River. The boat, which is decorated with lanterns and so on, is engulfed in flames, and the river surface is spectacular. In addition, there is a "throw torch [Nagetamatsu]" from the southern town of Yamanashi Prefecture, which was started in 1997 for the 400th anniversary of Morioka Castle Tsukijo, with sunset as a signal, the children turn the torches they have ignited at the point of the ball ball at the sports day with one hand, and throw each other at the overhead basket [basket] eye. The Black Stone Dance

Two thousand dancers on a daily basis knead and dance around the town in yukata on a kazasa to go to Tsugaru's signature folk song "Kuroishi Yosare". It is considered to be one of the three major Japanese dance dances. In particular, the "surrounding dance" that dances between the sway dances is a great dance involving the audience. At the Gumi Odori Awards, Shamisen, Taiko, and Uki also perform the Tsugaru Minadori in a lively way.

Princess Island Bon Dance

It is said that the Himeji Bon Dance was derived from the Nembutsu Dance of the Kamakura period, and there are traditional dances and creative dances. Traditional dances include fox dance, ayah dance, Qian drum, and Sarumaru Tayu, which are performed by children and the general public in the district. The costumes with elaborate humor and taste will delight the viewer. On both days of August 14-15 each year, ferry temporary flights are operated.

2024 Sapporo Summer Festival

The summer wind poem in Sapporo for the 71st time in 2024. In about a month from late July to mid-August, the largest beer garden in Japan, "Welfare Supporting Sapporo Odori Beer Garden", which appears at Odori Park 5-8, 10.11 Street, and the North Sea Bon Dance at Odori Park Nishi 2-chome, many co-sponsored events such as the Tanuki Festival and the Susukino Festival in the Sapporo Tanukikoji Shopping Street are held to enliven the summer of Sapporo. Above all, the beer garden is very popular when you can enjoy delicious beer and food from Japan and abroad under the refreshing summer sky and the starry sky. There will also be a reserved seat for tourists, "Omotena Seat".

The 69th Hitoyoshi Fireworks Festival

As a major event in summer, visitors from inside and outside the prefecture visit. Fireworks are not only in the sky, but also vividly displayed on the river surface of the Kuma River, which flows through the city center of Hitoyoshi.

Chankoko

Spiritual Sink

Shimabara's unique spirit sink, which is decorated with cut-out lanterns on a spirit ship made of bamboo and straw. It is carried by a large number of people under the influence of "Namai Do", and is swept away by the Ariake Sea from the sink in several places in the city.
