Tajimi Pottery Festival

Oribe Street, Honmachi, Tajimi-shi, Mino-yaki, which has a large number of street stalls around the city hall. Mino ware, which is responsible for roughly half of Japan's tableware production, still inheriting the tradition. Furukawa Festival, wake-up drum

A traditional shrine, which is also designated as an important intangible folk cultural property of the country at the annual festival of Keta Wakamiya Shrine located in the town. This festival is centered on the rituals at the shrine and the ancient style “Mikami koshi procession”. A grand era picture scroll is held over two days on April 19 and 20 by a group of three events. In 2016, it was listed as a "UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage" as one of the "Mountain, Stand and Food Events".

Gujo Hachiman Spring Festival

関まつりあんどんみこしコンクール

刀都の春を彩る「関まつり」。最大の呼び物であるあんどんみこしコンクールでは、大小20余基のあんどんみこしが夜の町を練り歩き、華やかさを競う。コンクールは19日(土)18時45分~20時30分、入賞したみこしによる表彰パレードは20日(日)19~20時。また、19日(土)の昼にはパレードやステージイベントが行われるほか、県指定重要文化財の浦嶋山車や加茂山車の巡行、春日神社では400年以上続く古典芸能「どうじやこう」も行われ、市街地は祭り一色に染まる。 画像提供:一般社団法人 関市観光協会

久田見糸きりからくり祭り

6両の絢爛豪華な山車が曳き出され、その上に設けられた舞台では、「糸きりからくり」という独特の技法により創り出された人形劇が繰り広げられる。人形劇はその時の話題やヒーローなどが取り上げられ、毎年新しく作り変えられる。祭典当日、地元の人にも初めてお披露目されることになる。 画像提供:八百津町

The 18th National Treasure Matsumoto Castle Cherry Blossom Tree-lined Corridor

The cherry trees in the outer moat of Matsumoto Castle are lit up, and the beautiful light corridor wraps around the jet-black Matsumoto Castle. Each branch of the cherry blossoms illuminated by the light is reflected on the surface of the moat, and the world of the mysterious light spreads. Sakura festival in the dragon park

The 44th Fukada Festival

Hisaya Fukada, the author of "One Hundred Great Mountains in Japan", died suddenly while climbing Chigatake on March 21, 1971. The Fukada Memorial Park was opened in 1981 to commemorate the tenth anniversary of his death.
