Japan Monkey Park

Established in the 22nd year of the Oei era (1415) by Nippō Oshō of Myōshin-ji. The temple grounds feature a bell tower adorned with sculptures by Hidari Jingorō. Additionally, treasures such as the blood daruma hanging scroll, a secret treasure of the Ashikaga shogunate, and the Yima by Kanō Tanyū can be seen at the Inuyama Cultural Museum.

A theme park-type museum where you can enjoy and become familiar with the world’s ethnic cultures under the theme of "Houses and Lives of the World." The main building at the entrance features five exhibition rooms displaying about 6000 ethnic materials from around the world, including "The Beginning of Humanity" and "The Universe of the Heart." There is also a Little World Bazaar with folk crafts and sweets from around the world. Outdoors, there are eight zones along a 2.5 km circular path, including a zone with relocated houses from Okinawa and Taiwan and a tent village zone from around the world. Each zone offers gourmet food from various countries, shopping, and experiences in ethnic costumes. Various events, including performances of ethnic dances, are held regularly.

An outdoor museum preserving and exhibiting buildings centered around the Meiji era, symbolizing the civilization and enlightenment. The approximately 1 million square meter site facing Iruka Pond includes over 60 buildings, including 11 important cultural properties, as well as materials related to Meiji culture and life, and period furniture and furnishings. Additionally, visitors can experience riding on an SL or Kyoto city tram, enjoy gourmet food recreated and arranged from period recipes, and take commemorative photos in Meiji-style costumes, allowing them to enjoy a time-travel experience to the Meiji era.
