It produces and sells tempura (sweet fish) made from white small fish, such as Eso and Guchi, a specialty of Kaminseki. Hatoko Tempura 360 yen was named because the staff often ate on TV drama locations. Hiraten with burdock is also 360 yen. They also accept regional shipments.

The observatory stands on the summit of the highest peak of Nagashima, Mount Kamimori (315m altitude). From the roof of the white kerokodai-shaped building, you can enjoy 360-degree panoramas, including the Kamigeki Port and Kamigeki Bridge under your eyes, and on a clear day you can see up to Shikoku and Kyushu.

It was built in 1879 (Meiji 12), and is the oldest type of pseudo-yō-style architecture in Yamaguchi Prefecture. An elaborate structure unique to the land that flourished with maritime traffic with foreign countries. French stained glass remains on the windows, jet-black sculptures of Chinese lion peonies on the walls of the third floor, and phoenix jet-black sculptures on the ceiling of the fourth floor. In addition to the exhibition of materials about the four-story tower, the Kamigeki-cho Folk History Learning Hall, which is attached to the building, the history of Kamigeki-cho is presented with panels and footage.
