Seon/Yuon's Inn

A hot spring inn standing along the Kusu River of Amagase Onsen, which boasts a history of over 1300 years. It is a long-established inn that has been in operation since the Tenpo era (1831-1845), with records of historical figures such as Nagamitsu and Masujiro Omura visiting. It is based on the concept of "a gentle inn for the body," and day-use bathing is also available. Guests can enjoy a beautiful skin-enhancing hot spring with a faint scent of sulfur in a barrier-free, gender-separated large bath.

A day bath is accepted at the popular inn, Sanso Tensui, in Tengase Onsen. "Takikan-an", an open-air bath where the waterfall can be seen, is for both sexes and is open to outpatient use. Five family baths, all of which are quaint in semi-outdoor baths, are also available for day use. You can also enjoy the view of the mountain stream while soaking in the hot water.

At the Amagase Onsen Seitenkaku, located in the central part of the Amagase Onsen area, day-use bathing is available for about five hours from the afternoon. It is well-received as a bath with a faint sulfur scent and the dancing of hot spring flowers, and it offers various benefits and skin-beautifying effects.
