Handmade buckwheat red clay

It uses 100% hand-made 10-wari soba noodles from the highest peak of Tokuchi Akisoba (blended with Kinsunago, except for November), and many original menus made by a shopkeeper of 20 years of Japanese cuisine, such as salad soba set 1200 yen and pungent radish soba 1000 yen.

Shiocho Hall

A retro-styled buckwheat shop using the building of the former Ota Bank, built in 1887 (Meiji 20). Use soba noodles grown by the old-fashioned slash-and-burn method, hand-cut, sun-dried and coarsely ground with a millstone. In addition to 1100 yen of seiro soba, we recommend 1700 yen of onion tenseiro soba with green onion tempura.

Nishi-gold sand soba no-soba no-soba studio

It boasts soba noodles, which are served daily with a millstone, ground, freshly beaten, and freshly boiled, from Jōriku-Ota. You can also taste the sweet taste of the limited menu, such as Jokori Akisoba 100% 10 Wari Soba 1400 yen ~ and Zenzai with soba dango. Soba-based experience 2970 yen for 4 people (reservation required).

Soba Garden Satake

自家製粉のそばはもちろん、野菜や山菜など、四季折々の素材をカラッと揚げた天ぷらが名物。旬菜天ざる1300円には、自家製の山菜や野菜の天ぷらが盛られている。かき揚げに野菜と山菜の天ぷらが付く天ざる1000円。令和4年(2022)5月、隣にCAFE「soba&cofee SATAKE」がオープンし、食事の前後にスイーツやコーヒーも楽しめる。

SOVA TEA Koshiji

常陸太田市街の西側に立つ洒落た雰囲気が漂うそばと喫茶が楽しめる店。自慢のそばは、常陸秋そばの発祥地として知られる地元金砂郷地区のそばを手刈りして天日干し、自家製粉したそば粉をアルカリイオン水で手打ちしている。1日20食のみの限定せいろ1300円は、香りや風味も豊かでほのかな甘みがある。一緒に付いてくる板状のそばの刺身は塩を少しつけて味わおう。そばぜんざい、くずきり、アイスクリームなどの甘味とコーヒーなどの喫茶もあり、やすらぎの場所として利用できる。

Taizu Fishing Co-operative Market Canteen

大津漁港そばに立つ、地元漁協直営の食堂。素材は毎日、港から直送されるので鮮度も味も折り紙付き。総席数124と広々としており、大人数や込み合う時期でも安心。テーブル席や座敷を用意している。

Cutlets pavilion

衣サクサクで肉厚のとんかつは、茨城県産のローズポークを使用。おすすめは特上リブロースかつ定食1800円。ご飯・キャベツの大盛無料で、味も量も大満足。

Seavers Cafe

The Pacific Ocean spreads out in front of you with full glass, and it looks like a cafe floating in the sea. It is directly connected to JR Hitachi Station, and the point is that you can enjoy the ocean view in 30 seconds from the ticket gate. The building was designed by Kazuyo Sejima, a global architect from Hitachi City, and was awarded the Good Design Award in 2012. There are pop furniture and antique chairs in the shop, and the atmosphere is like a resort. Pancakes and clubhouse sandwiches are recommended for lunch. For dinner where the night view is also a feast, ethnic menus such as Thai fried rice, gapao rice and green curry are also available.

Chief Omika Jiro

Lunch menu such as grilled fish and mountain kake is reasonable at 650 yen. In addition to the top of the fish that came up in the local area at 1000 yen (lunch only), sea urchin and abalone in the summer and anglerfish in the winter, there are various menus unique to Kuji Fishing Port, which is rich in marine products. It is also open as a tavern at night. A winter pot with seven utensils is 3500 yen for two servings. Reservations required at least three days in advance. The last one is exceptional. 980 yen for delicious delicious mackerel and 2000 yen (from Khamis).

Kujihama Minato

Sushi restaurant in Hitachi Fish Center. There are fish and shellfish delivered directly from Kujihama Port, so it's nice to offer them not only fresh, but also high-end ingredients at a reasonable price. There is also a rich menu of boiled, baked fish and fried foods. There is also a great lunch menu, such as the seafood plenty of chirashi sushi 1320 yen and the sashimi platted set meal 1980 yen, and the weekday lunch for 1.5 servings is very popular with men.
