The restaurant was opened as one of the tenants of the "Nikko Kanaya Hotel" complex store by a shopkeeper who had been studying for more than 20 years at the "Nikko Sanen Tenement" store. For lunch, they will prepare course dishes that can be enjoyed, such as Tamami dishes, which are a specialty of Nikko, ginger-yaki using branded pork, Tochigi Yume pork, and grilled Tochigi's famous fish, Yashio trout. The evening menu features a lineup of dishes that are not bound by the Japanese-Western eclectic genre, such as smoked yunami salad, mapo tofu, tofu chige, and roasted duck breast, while incorporating local cuisine.

Coming home to the Kogai River

This is a stylish log house built on the uppermost reaches of the clean Kurokawa, where you can enjoy hand-made soba. Open with the desire to leave this place where rich nature remains. The soba, which is made by self-milling and hand-crafted from the gensoba that was grown in the local Korai River, is characterized by a smooth throat. The shop has counter and table seats facing the windows with a good view. The vessel by Morimi Saeki, a popular writer of Mashiko ware used for serving, is also attractive.

Micchan buckwheat noodles

A commoner-like soba place with a shop in front of Shin-Kanuma Station. The shop owner sincerely provides the soba inherited from her mother. It used to use Yawata soba from Kaminnamuma, which is said to have been presented to the imperial family. For Kanuma-kko, the familiar leek soba 950 yen is recommended, but there is no loss in taste, such as crispy fried tempura. Even the family can relax slowly.

Xuan Soba Wen Shi-an

The Nikkō Tōshōgū Shōgō soba, Kanuma native native soba, Nikkō sazare soba (Mori), and Crude Bikihachi soba 900 yen are reputed.

Elephant House

The building is a converted warehouse of Oya stone. It combines the presence of stone walls and the oriental atmosphere. The food is mild and seasoned, so it's safe for people who are not good at spicy. At night, it's a full reservation system, with omakase dishes at 3000-5000 yen per person.

BRONCO

A long-established Western style, where you can enjoy country & western, American pop, etc. Live shows are held from time to time, and famous musicians such as Mickey Curtiss and Kenichi Nagira can be invited to play music charge from ¥ 2500.

FREE FLIGHT

A shop where you can relax to your heart's content while enjoying a full range of cocktails and dishes. The atmosphere that does not stick your shoulders and elbows is well established in the local area. Jazz live is held regularly. Music charge from 550 yen.

HACHINOJO food · wine

The stone store used to be a wine warehouse is a restaurant bar for adults, and 200 types of wine are available for dinner course at 5000 yen.

Pipe kekemuri Ikegami-cho head office

カクテルの街として有名な宇都宮。昭和49年(1974)に開店した宇都宮のバーの草分け的な店だが、一見さんでも気軽に利用できる。まずはコンペ優勝のカクテルや、季節のフレッシュフルーツカクテルなどからお試しを。また食事も充実しているので、食事のみの利用もOK。

Sweet tooth shop Miyoshi

It was founded in 1951, and is a sweet shop in the city of Utsugu. There are many local fans who have never changed since ancient times, such as rice paste cooked with red beans from Hokkaido and rice cakes made with hand stamp. In addition to the classic Oshiruko 780 yen, the Miyoshi udon with baked rice cakes is also a popular dish.
