Hot Spring Temple

In Tenpyo 10 (738), the ancient temple that is transmitted as Dochi Jojin Kaiki. The main hall (Important Cultural Property), which is an eclectic style of Wazama, Tang-sama, and Tenjiku-sama, is the oldest wooden structure in the Tajima region. There are also many temple treasures, such as the Honson Juanji Guanyin (Important Cultural Property), the Jukuzen Shrine statue, and the Hōjō Into (Important Cultural Property). There is an onsenji treasure hall in the precinct. The stone steps from the foot are 450 steps. If you use the ropeway, you may get off at the intermediate station and walk on the mossy stone approach.

Golden Temple

An ancient temple of the Shingon sect known as the temple of rhododendrons. About 1000 rhododendrons produce beautiful pink flowers every April. Late autumn leaves are also a must.

Xingzen Temple

A temple located at the foot of the Kuroi Castle site. Originally the lower building of Kuroi Castle, where the castle owner lived, when there was no battle. It is surrounded by water moats and high stone walls, known as Shichimatabori, and still retains the image of the castle hall of the Sengoku period. It is also known that Ofuku, who later became the nanny of the Tokugawa 3rd Shogun and Iemitsu and the Kasuga Bureau, spent his childhood up to the age of three, and in front of the Tōmon stands the monument of the Kasuka Bureau birth place. There is also Ofuku's water well.

Kasuga Shrine

A shrine that celebrated the spirit of Kasuga Taisha Shrine in Nara. There is a Noh stage, where the Shinoyama clan lord, Tadayoshi Aoyama, who was a Noh devotee, was invited, and "Gencho no Omijitsu" is held on New Year's Day, and "Shinoyama Kasuga Noh" is held in early April. The Jinkoshi and Sanzan, which travel around the city of Shinzan Tamba during the autumn festival in October, are also a regional wind poem. You can't miss the Ema-do, which is dedicated to picturals and others featuring Kanoshinosaku and the black kōjama.

The roadside station is

Roadside station in the town of Haga, located at the halfway point of Route 29. The concession stands are rich in fresh vegetables and fruits, unique to the natural-rich town of Haga, surrounded by mountains over 1000 meters. There are a lot of specialty products such as local sake and items that are perfect for souvenirs. Apple soft serve for sale. It also features a restaurant and offers a variety of menus, mainly with ingredients picked in Shiso City and Tajima.

Shinmaiko swimming beach

A swimming beach with one of Kansai's premier ocean beaches. You can overlook the islands of the Seto Inland Sea from the sandy beach. The waves on the coast are quiet, with land appearing up to several hundred m offshore when the tide goes down. You can relax on the beach where you can fully enjoy the nature of summer. From mid-April to late June, they also perform clamming (1500 yen for adults, 900 yen for elementary school students, 400 yen for infants, 1700 yen for adults, 1100 yen for elementary school students, 500 yen for infants).

Iseya Main Store

A long-established confectionery store established by the company of Genroki, which puts goodwill in the arcade streets of Nishi-Nikaraimachi. It is famous for Tamaki Tsubaki, one of Himeji's representative confectionery. In the late Edo period, a Japanese-style confection made by the clan at the time of the wedding between Himeji feudal lord Sakai Tadagaku and the daughter of the 11th Shogun Tokugawa Iesai, wrapped in light red-colored manure, with a soft and tasteful sweetness. 120 yen per piece (plus tax).

Zhongshan Temple

It is an ancient temple reportedly founded by Prince Shōtoku, and the 24th Tōshōsho of Saikuni, No. 24. It is said that Dou, such as the main hall and the Tori-do, were built by Toyotomi Hideyori. The Rahan-do, which is lined with about 700 Yufu statues of Rahan, is spectacular. Honson's Eleanmen Guanyin (Important Cultural Property) is known as Ano's Guanyin-sama, and on the day of the dog every month, it is crowded with people who come to give them a cheap belly band.

Hot Spring Temple

The oldest temple in Arima of the first year of Kamikame (724). He holds the temple treasures such as Hai-Iirao (Important Cultural Property), which is said to be the Yukei-saku. Depending on the season, if you make a reservation with three or more people, you can enjoy Chinese-style cuisine of Pucha (5,000 yen to lunch, tax included). Zazen experience is also possible with a reservation of three or more people.

Nyoi Temple

An ancient temple that was opened by the Hado Sennin. It was established during the Heian period by Anyang Niiganshi (the elder sister of the Eshin monastery). This area is the setting for the story of Genji, "Akashi no Maki", and it can be seen that the dynasty hobbies of the period, such as Jigyo-do in Miyama and Akashi-Irudo, are adopted in the plan of the temple tower. The Amida-do (Jōgyodo) was built during the period of the Imperial Government, although it is now the main temple. It has been designated as an Important Cultural Property of the Nation, along with the Mie Pagoda and the Monju-do.
