The shrine house (the shrine house)

The ancestors of the Shangkari family were relatives of King Shangen, and the former family, who served as the land head of the island during the dynasty. Ball Palace

Izena Island

A circular island with a circumference of about 16km, located about 27km northwest of the headquarters peninsula. It is the birthplace of Shōen-ou, the founder of the Second Shōnō clan of the Ryukyu Dynasty, and has many historical sites related to Yukari. Izena Village, which has a line of houses that can be said to be the original scenery of Okinawa, is recommended for a walk. Izena Island is surrounded by beautiful coral reefs, and there are three uninhabited islands in the surrounding area: Gushikawa Island, Yana Naha Island, and Ojin Island, where you can enjoy camping. Sea Gitara Land Gitara

Ghitara refers to pointed crags, with the sea being located in the sea being called Gitara, and the mountain being located in the mountains being called Gitara, competing against each other. Ihiraya Lighthouse

Heiramatsu in mind of Iheya Island

Noho Island

Iheya Island

The northernmost manned island in Okinawa Prefecture, located in the East China Sea about 40km from the headquarters peninsula and about 42km due west of Cape Hedo, Okinawa. It tends to be mountainous, but there are paddy fields on flat ground. Yonezaki Beach in the south is connected to Noho Island by the 1244m-long Noho Bridge. Historically, it is an island related to Takashi Daiichi. The Tian Sun Ding legend is transmitted in the Kumaya cave.

Tiger head rock

When the ferry to the island enters the entrance of Iheya Island, Maedomari Port, a huge rock can be seen behind the port terminal. Because it is shaped like a tiger on the face of a tiger, it is said to be Torazu Iwa, and it is familiar to people on the island as a natural feng shui rock. It is possible to climb to the top by a staircase set up on a rocky slope, giving a panoramic view of the sea and the mountains. There is also a Koshidake forest park nearby, which is ideal for forest bathing and hiking.
