The site of a famous castle of World Cultural Heritage located on an elevation of 160m overlooking the Nakagusuku Bay. One of the most beautiful remains of Gusuku, which has more than 300 left in Okinawa Prefecture, and has been designated as a national historic site. It is said that in the middle of the 15th century, the castle built by Anji Sannaka Castle was moved to the castle by the order of the King, the Zakimi castle owner, Gosamaru, who is also a family of Tsukijo, and the Sanno Guo and the North Guo were added and completed. The Liangguo-style castle, consisting of six castellates, is based on the ashlar stones of the Ryukyu limestone, with natural rocks and stone walls taking advantage of topographical conditions surrounding the city walls. Due to the different Tsukijo age, three techniques of ashlar stacking are also found in the technique of field stacking and cloth stacking and tortoiseshell stacking.
