Iki/Matsunaga Anzato Memorial Hall

Yasue Matsunaga, who was credited as the "power king of Japan", is from Iki. He worked to spread and promote Japan's electric power, starting with the establishment of a gas, electric and railway company, and laid the foundation for Japan's industrial and economic development. In the memorial hall, which was created in his birthplace, he displays his merits and his medals. It takes 30 minutes.

Iki Cultural Village

The Mingei Museum is a collection of folk tools from the Edo period, trying to convey the climate and culture of Iki. There is a dirt in the rustic private house-style building, and you can get exhibits, so you can feel the old life. It is adjacent to Yukawa Onsen and Ichishu Honchi. It takes 20 minutes.

The hill of the Iki Fengdo Museum, the old house

On the Iki Fūdoki hill, you can see the kake-kokofun (kake-gikofun) and the peasants samurai residences that had been in the restored Edo period. At the Kofumukan, an introduction to the outlines of Iki's Kofumen period and the six burial mounds of the national history site, while at the Kofumukan, the public display displays folk materials, mainly farm tools. In addition, the area around the Iki Fudo-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-Ku-Ku-Ku-no-Ku-no-Ku-Fun, the largest of Nagasaki Prefecture, and the medieval site of Yamashiro Ike Castle, where you can experience the history of each era.

Iki City Ichikoku Museum

About 2000 exhibits, mainly pottery and stoneware from the Yayoi-Kofun period unearthed on Iki Island. In Japan, there are rare items such as human-faced stones found only in Iki, as well as Japanese oldest dragonflies and arrowheads [yajiri]. It is designed to be able to understand while experiencing the history of Iki, such as making full use of CG images full of appearance and actually touching some of the earthenware.

Iki Dolphin Park & Resort

A petting facility that uses a natural inlet to raise dolphins. In addition to watching the training five times a day, you can also touch the dolphins and take pictures together with the contact experience four times a day (a basic fee of 3,000 yen, a capacity of 1 to 4 people).

National History Site Sasazuka Kofun

A burial mound where a stone room restoration model is also displayed inside the Ichikoku Museum. The excavated gold-copper turtle-shaped garment [Kondoshi-seikame-gata kazari-kanagu] is the only one horse-fitting ornament in the world with a turtle motif, which is considered to be a symbol of longevity. In 2007, the excavated product was certified as a National Important Cultural Property, and in 2009, it was certified as a National Designated Historic Site.

National Historic Site Su-rokukofun

Nagasaki Prefecture's largest, with a total length of 91m. Some of the oldest excavations from the burial mound have been found in Japan, including the Hokusei Seisai ware ware and the Silla ware ware ware, and a line engraving depicting a ship is also depicted inside the stone chamber. In July 2008, the excavated product was certified as a National Important Cultural Property, and in February 2009, it was certified as a National Designated Historic Site.

Takenotsuji Observation Deck

Takenotsuji, which rises to the east of the town of Gonoura, is the highest peak in the flat Iki Island, while its elevation is 213m. When you stand on this observation deck, which is provided at the summit, you can see the whole island, which is covered in gentle relief and surrounded by Genkai. If you are blessed with weather conditions, you can also see mainland Kyushu and Tsushima.

Tsuji ruins in the original

It is the site of a [Ikikoku] settlement in the middle Yayoi period (c. 300), and is a valuable site that also includes the site of the oldest Japanese landing site. The excavated remains have been backfilled, but the excavated items and models can be visited at the same field's Tsuji Guidance (fee: free, time: 9-17, telephone: 0920-45-2065). It takes 30 minutes.
