Sakura Hall

Road Station Otou Sakura Kaido

Sakura Onsen is a natural hot spring, and includes a large bathhouse, an open-air bath, and a medicine bath.

Mr. Fujie Fish Paradise

It was reportedly designed by Sesshu [Sesshu] around the 6th year of civilization (1474) during the Muromachi period, in the gardens of the former family Fujie family. Road Station Koharu

In the "Wagie no sato", the goods museum mainly sells seasonal vegetables and processed products such as miso and tofu. The prepared foods and bento, which are handmade and finished by a local farmer's housewife, are also reputed.

Tagawa City Museum of Art

In 1991, it was opened as the first full-scale museum of Chikuho in the Tagawa Cultural Area. It features a heavy exterior of a large copper plate roof. Under the theme of "transmission from Chikuho", various planned exhibitions centered on writers related to the local area are held. As a museum that can be enjoyed by citizens, the museum offers a wide range of local art, as well as holding English exhibitions, children's painting exhibitions, workshops that can be enjoyed by parents and children, as well as a place to freely discuss the presentation of works and publicity.

Tagawa Coal and History Museum

The "Chikuho Coal Field Archaeological Site" became a national designated historic site in October 2018. A red brick-style building stands in the Coal Memorial Park, which is maintained at the "Mitsagawa Mining Works Ida Mine Site", which is one of them. The first floor introduces the history of the coal mine and the coal industry, while the second floor displays the coal mine records of Sakuhei Yamamoto, the first in Japan to be listed as a UNESCO World Memory Heritage (Memory of the World). Outside, SL used for coal transportation, large machinery used for digging, etc. are also exhibited, and there is the former Miidagawa Mining Plant Ida Pisan, and the first second chimney (National Register Tangible Cultural Property), which was also sung in the coal mine section. While walking through the park, you can see how it was when it flourished in the coal mine. It takes about one hour.
