Myoseji Temple

It was the predecessor of Kokusei-ji Temple, which was founded by Mochimori Ouchi in Oei 21 (1414), and was renamed Myosei-ji, taking the legal name of the elder sister of the Changfu feudal lord who was buried here in Gyeongsang 9 (1604). There is a Sesshu garden with a pond behind the main hall, and azaleas serve the color in early May. On the side of Onarimon stands the monument of the Santuon Fire, "Neue in the midst of the overflowing."

Hotel Xichanmen Resort

One-day bathing in the hot spring bath is possible at the Hotel Nishinanmen Resort, which stands in a superb view of the island of Kado, which is located at the northernmost tip of Honshu, in front of you. Lake Toyoda Park Campground

Road Station Hotaru Highway Nishino City

Roadside station in Toyota-cho, which is rich in nature, also famous as firefly village. It features a building built in the image of an old-fashioned rural settlement. Roadside station

I also want to try 330 yen for strawberry soft ice cream and 800 yen for char siu somen, which is a good match for soy sauce-flavored soup.

Kōjima Ohashi

Part of the prefectural road No. 276, which connects Honshu and Kōjima. The road was opened in 2000, and the beautiful street where a bridge with a total length of 1780m runs over the cobalt blue sea is a symbol of sightseeing on the island. It has become famous for its appearance in commercials of automobiles, and has gained popularity as a spectacular spot. Especially from the observation deck in Amigase Park on the side of Honshū, the position where you can see the sea of Kakushima Ohashi and the sea of cobalt blue, the small island floating on the way (Hatoshima), and the corner of which is beautifully arranged, is recommended for photography.

Minori Hill, Toyota Agricultural Park, Shimonoseki City

An agricultural park where you can enjoy seasonal harvests from rice to vegetables and fruit. You can experience such as 1500 yen of soba noodles and soybeans harvested in farmers and gardens in Shimonoseki city, and 1000 yen of making tofu. There is also a place for selling fresh vegetables and ice cream in the restaurant. In addition, it is possible to experience farming while staying at the log house in the park for one year.

Cous forest on the river shelf

A famous tree named because the branches of one large tree spread out and looked like a forest from a distance. A crisply scale of 27m height, 11.2m trunk circumference, 58m east-west branch, 53m north-south. It is also one of Japan's three largest camphor trees, with an age of about 1000 years. It has also been selected for the "New Japan Nagi Hyakugi".

The whole area of Toyota-cho, Shimonoseki City
