Roadside Station Mai Road IC Chiyoda

It is located on the side of the Chiyoda IC on the Chugoku Expressway and is convenient as a base for express buses and transit buses. It sells local flavors such as rice, doburoku, country sushi and rice cakes, as well as fresh vegetables. Road Station Toyohira Acorn Village

In the "Acorn-an" in the park, you can taste the "hand-made soba" that the artisans hit with their hearts. In addition, you can also experience soba. At the Japanese restaurant "Ryodou no Sato", we also recommend creative dishes using local ingredients, as well as peasant dishes (required for reservations) that are proud of the chef.

Mitsu Falls

One of the five major landscapes of Sandankyo; a three-stage, five-stage, graceful waterfall that runs down a narrow section of a huge rock called a tatami rock; and a way from Sandankaki to Mitsu Falls is not well maintained, so it is better to go from Holy Lake upstream of Mitsu Falls.

Two-stage waterfall

One of the five great landscapes of Sandankyo. A powerful waterfall, 15m high and 3m wide, near Sarufei. Water smoke rises and roars. Originally, it was two steps, but in the torrential rains of 1988, the upper row collapsed into one step.

Three-tiered waterfall

One of the five major landscapes of Sandankyo. It is a magnificent waterfall that flows down with a head of about 30m divided into three steps, and the water smoke that rolls up surrounded by a precipice is spectacular. In each season, the breathtaking beauty coupled with the surrounding landscape is the best highlight of Sandankyo. The falls, which are colored by autumn foliage, among others, are stunning.

Three Dans Gorge

A gorge extending to about 16km that cut deep into the West China Mountains. It is dotted along the promenade with a total length of about 16km that stitches the virgin forest, with the black abuehi, the two-stage waterfall, the three-stage waterfall and the three-stage waterfall, and is called the Five Great Landscapes of the Sandankyo. In silence, you can enjoy a forest bath by walking along the clear stream where the singing of wild birds is echoed.

Monkey Fei

Narmen, located approximately in the center of the Sandankyo. It is a narrow toro with a width of about 5m and a length of 85m, and is sandwiched between a quay with a height of 20m. The top of the precipice is about 2m at the narrowest. The name came from the monkey flying there. There is also a thrilling ferry (fee: 500 yen, period: late April-late November) that crosses the rope between the quay to the two-stage waterfall.

The Abyss

It is one of the five major landscapes of the Sandankyo, an S-shaped abyss about 100m with sheer cliffs and primeval forests and clear streams. The large quay that protrudes from both banks is called a folding stone. It can be seen from the promenade, but it is recommended that the ferry crossing the clear abyss (fare: 500 yen round trip, 300 yen one way, time: late April to late November from 9 to 16 o'clock). At the end of the ferry, there is Kurouchi-so and the only restaurant in the gorge. You can spend a relaxing time with snacks such as grilled Yamame salt and udon noodles, as well as coffee.

Hiroshima Village

Located at the foot of Mount Shenzhen, you can fully enjoy the majestic nature. The ceramic hot spring (charge: 500 yen, time: 11 to 20 o'clock), which is effective for fatigue recovery and stiff shoulders, has a sauna and a whirlpool, so you can refresh your accommodation, as well as an all-weather tennis court and facilities.
