Road Station Aristo Numa Bear

Road station located in the center of the nature-rich Numakuma Peninsula. Edo Bath

Crowds of Ubamegashi

Sengen Island

The origin of the name is that the hermit was also intoxicated by beauty on an island off Tomonoura. It has four trekking courses, and the 3.5km of the Omisen ridgeline course is recommended.

Five-colored rock

Homomei Sakaya Tomo Sake Brewery

Tomonoura, a port town with a port waiting for the tide, Tomo Port. Among the townscape that still retains the memories of the Edo period, the store building that is rich in affectionate is the long-established Homei Sake, Homi Sakaya Tomomoshu Sake, which was founded in 1879 (1879). Homishu is a medicinal liquor whose production began in the early Edo period. Joji is added to glutinous rice, then shochu is added, and 16 kinds of herbal medicines such as ground yellow and cinnamon are pickled and extracted. It is characterized by a simple label and slightly strong medicinal taste, and tasting is possible in stores. Jukuami Homishu (in a glass bottle) 300 ml 1200 yen.

Gento Okamoto Kametaro head office

Hobai Sake/Hon Mirinzo The head office of Kametaro Okamoto started a business in the sake industry in 1855 and started the Meiji era, and was released in the late Meiji era from the original, Nakamura family. He inherited the techniques of the tradition and took over a set of tools, and embarked on the brewing of life sake in earnest. The building of Kuramoto's directly managed store is the Fukuyama City Important Cultural Property, which was relocated to the Fukuyama Castle Nagayamon in the Meiji era, and the store is filled with large signs of dragon inherited from the Nakamura family and the sake drinking urn of the ancient bōzen ware. Inside the store, there are also souvenir products such as toffdies and sweets made from Homomei.

Hatta Haimi Sake Shop

You can enjoy the flavor of the orthodox medicinal sake, with a deep thickening, clean aftertaste: 700 milliliters 1800 yen, 900 milliliters 2200 yen (both in glass bottles).

Tomonoura Ken-chan's Rikko-ya

It sells crepe from local Hashima and fresh sea products from Setouchi. Among them, the most popular are the crisp-tasting “Iriko” and the “Chii Chii Ika”, which becomes more addictive. The original development product "Jakomon" is a taste that kneads the crepe of the bird into the dough and makes collaboration with the best koshi-an addictive. Featured on TV and boiling popular.
