Genwa 8 (1622) His cousin, Tokugawa Ieyasu's cousin, Mizuno Katsunari [Mizuno Katsunari], became the lord of Fukuyama's 100,000-koku and became the castle of Tsukijo. The Tenjōkaku was rebuilt in 1966 and opened to the public as a museum. Fushimi-zō (Important Cultural Property) and Sujiganemon (Important Cultural Property), which were relocated from Fushimi Castle in Kyoto, are the remains of the old times. In the year of Reiwa 4 (2022), the iron sheet on the northern wall of the castle tower, which would be the only one in the whole country, was restored.
