Spelt Sweets/Wood Carvings Tam Kaima

Shops selling Western-style sweets and wood-carved works, located by the Miyajima Historical and Folklore Museum on Miyajima. The store building that stands in the back of the alley is a cute hut that looks like a retreat in a picture book. Handmade Western sweets such as tarts and financiers using spelt (ancient wheat) are gentle on the body and delicious. The carefully crafted pieces of wood are also recommended because they have a good taste.

Sakamoto Confectionery

The store's proud homemade peeled sasaryan and seasonal maple (four species) are also popular. You can enjoy a variety of flavors depending on the season, including spring cherry bean anmomiji (with cherry leaves), summer Uji kinagi momiji (with matcha-an-an-a-mou-miji (with chestnut cream), winter grilled potato momiji (potato paste). The popular No1 salted butter maple is a new type of maple bun that contains no anko or anything inside, and is made from a castella with plenty of French salt and New Zealand butter. One rose sale from 100 yen.

Confectionery

120 yen per apple of confectionery kimura. Sauteed and cooked with wine with apple pulp. Crispy texture is good. Tasty even if chilled. One original cheese 120 yen. Blended cream cheese and processed cheese and put Cointreau. The skin is dough based on chiffon cake dough. I don't get it for two to three days.

Iwamura Momijiya

As an anko specialty store, both koshi-paste and tsubu-paste are hand-made homemade bean paste made from Hokkaido. The castella dough is not only freshly baked but also moist and soft when cooled. Come on when you come. 10 pieces for 1000 yen, 16 pieces for 1600 yen and 20 pieces for 2000 yen.

Miyajima Iron Pot Fire Store

Nature workshop stone kokoro-kan Miyajima

The store, which has more than 100 kinds of power stone and stone accessories, is like a toy box. The Miyajima-only maple strap, which can only be obtained here, is 880 yen, and the deer purse, 506 yen, is perfect for souvenirs.

House of the scoop

Shamoji is a "meshi-take" curb on opening or must-win. At the end of the 18th century, Miyajima Shamoji conceived and pre-created a scoop as a souvenir for worshippers at the island shrine, inspired by the shape of a pipa held by Bensaiten to help the islanders live. A popular Japanese-style store for women. There is an abundance of high-sense accessories, such as items using old cloth from the end of the Taisho era to the early Showa era, cloth products with animal motifs, and figurines of papier-mâché. Omusubi pouches are limited to Miyajima. In addition, it has a large selection of local sake from Hiroshima, including Kamo Tsuru and Ichiyo, and also has local shipping.
